The Mayan Calender is not only a highly complex tool to measure time, it is much more than that ... and moreover there are several Calenders in use.

Although I have learned most of what I know today by people who studied José Argüelles' dreamspell - or visited seminars on this ;-) - I have also started to study the Mayan Calender as promoted by Carl Johann Calleman who bases his studies on the actual calender in use by Mayan elders.

Aluna Joy provides Mayan Calenders in both, Kiché and Yucatec counts and she also offers readings based on BOTH calenders. If you are interested, please join our group on Aluna Joy.

The basic difference between what José Argüuelles says and Carl Johann Calleman's calender version is the END DATE of the Mayan Calender:

José Argüuelles who sees himself as the re-incarnation of Pacal Votan, promotes the "End of Time" for December 21, 2012. Interestingly enough he died on March 23rd, 2011, which is the exact date of the Birth of the Ancient Pacal Votan ...

Carl Johann Calleman on the other hand is convinced that we will pass the ninth level of the underworld in October 2011.

And Wandering Wolf, the spokesman of the Mayan Elders?

Well, he held a Sacred Fire Ceremony on November 6th / 7th in order to help mankind find the right path which will result in survival instead of in destruction ...
East and West have been reconciled and reconnected in this Ceremony. They kind of found their common roots and celebrated their reunion. Buddhists and the Maya are the first to re-unite and hopefully all the other world religions will soon follow.

I have been missing them and even considered trying to find their info , for posting yesterday... decided it would be best coming from those with more, present, clarity in this area. They speak to my soul and though my conscious understanding of them is in beginning bloom, they are pertinent and so important, right now, I feel.

Take your time and know...all you're are doing is resonating deeply, even if at differing rates for some of us.
