Sirius was closely observed by all ancient cultures - you find discussions here on the Egyptians, Maya and Dogon as for all of them the dog days around the 26 of July were of importance. Sirius always reminds me of Isis - as Orion of Osiris - and thus I perceive the energy of Sirius as being very feminine - like the energy of a loving and caring mother who would do anything for her child.
Sirius is connected to the symbol of the Ankh - and Ankh means water and it is the symbol of LIFE, given to man by the gods.
Instead of repeating now what you will find in the discussions below, I would like to quote a passage from the Message From Lord Of Sirius trhough Michelle Coutant which illustrates perfectly well what Sirius stands for - and at the same time shows us a way, gives us a task, helps us understand what WE CAN DO NOW to raise the vibratory rate of us and the Sacred Sites all around the Earth:
Reach out to us, your brothers and sisters on Sirius. Go into meditation with the intention to connect with me, to connect with the blessed Christed beings of Sirius. Set your intention to connect with the blessed group vibration of the ascended masters. Sirius has been a gathering point, a way station for these blessed beings, who have delayed their progression and growth in the light, to assist you in yours. As you move more fully into the light, these blessed beings, will begin to make their focal point the planet earth. It is already happening, beloved ones. More and more, the ascended masters, the Council of Light, are gathering on your planet, as they once again, fully make Mt. Shasta, Shambhala, and other sacred sites their home. As crystalline activations are completed in the fullness of the diamond light, the Council of Light will once more take up residence in many sacred locations which have received the full light of the diamond crystalline vibration.
Go into meditation, allow yourselves to be open to receiving the vibration of a sacred site which will resonate with you. With this resonation, you will also feel the vibrations and resonation of the ascended masters associated with this sacred site. Add your light to the whole, dear ones; add your light to the fullness of the vibrations of the diamond light to assist the sacred sites into full consciousness. They too, are conscious, make no mistake. Just as your mother earth has consciousness, so do the sacred sites and nodes of power, through the added influence and continuity of the formation of particular grids and leylines which are most significant to each sacred site. Flow your light to the sacred site which resonates with you, dear ones. Flow your light and assist the coming into full consciousness and power of the diamond light, for this sacred site.
For those who are unfamiliar with sacred sites, you may do an internet search for sacred sites around the world and find a wealth of information. Please listen your inner wisdom to guide you in knowing which sacred sites to assist in coming into full consciousness.
There are also sacred sites around us, where we live, which need our light, sites which are not on any formal list of sacred sites. These may be natural land or water formations, or human made. These sacred sites, which have not been considered sacred sites in the past, are being activated now, as these sites are free of the density, and low vibrations which humanity has infused into the earth. The activation is part of the ascension process. Please use your inner wisdom and guidance to assist these sacred sites, where you live.

How funny I was drawn here this morning of the 12th ,I have been wondering what those other 2 stars were,when Bev and I were on the phone looking at the triangle a huge orb flew by,I have had this experience before about a yr ago I called out to the stars sending my love and an orb flew by,this morning I was actually up before dawn to let Crystal out (My Cat) I looked up at the night sky and sleepily said wow you are beautiful, then went back to bed vowing that I will get off this machine earlier at night and get up more often at that time:)

The Morning star, however, is VENUS ...Morning or Evening star. At the moment she appears as the morning star - and this is said to be her luciferian aspect.
Lucifer's salvation will go hand in hand with Earth's ascension ... The role he has been playing for eons will no longer be needed. Dualtiy will fall and Lucifer will enter the realms of light again ... some say, he already did - only matter is slow in recognizing this truth and still lacking behind! But he does not feed his miscreations anymore and therefore they are deemed to die. Darkness is no longer supported. He has found a friend in and of the light who came to visit him in the 6th dimension - and, finally, he decided to give up his role as the evil one who brings havoc upon all creation ... he is returning into the circle of UNITY and with him all who served darkness but are now willing to face their deeds in the eye of LOVE.

I was given a gold Ankh by the Pleideans in meditation a little while back,I think I told you,what is coming to mind also is that Morning Star I heard in my head on Greek ascension day a couple of years ago so loud it woke me up at 3am!

Have you heard about the Sun behind the Sun? It is part of anopther dimesnion but becomes visible already - sometimes for some of us ...
I have come across a beuatiful compilation of informtaion on 2012 - and finally I am able to explain part of the mystery of Sirius ... Here is what I have learned:
Sirius was called the Great Central Sun by the Maya - and it's orbiting planet Alcyone was called the CENTRAL SUN. Why? Because our solar system is circling around Alcyone - one round takes about 26000 years - and Alcyone in return is orbiting around SIRIUS!!!
Moreover I know now that the PHOTON BELT is a high frequency energy band emitted by SIRIUS. We have netered it for the first time in december 2009 but we are not yet fully indulged in it, as through our orbiting the sun we are still moving into it - and out again ... but not for very much longer. The last time we were in the photon belt, the decline of Atlantis was effected (13000 years ago - a half cycle around Alcyone - which means that we were basically in the same position ... ) THUS, WE ARE MOVING INTO A SPHERE OF DIRECT INFLUENCE THROUGH SIRIUS - photons being particles or waves of LIGHT! (please correct me if I am wrong - this is how I understand it)
I will post more on this, soon ... but I know now why ISIS is showing up so intensely these days: we have aligned to Sirius as we usually do during this time of the year - the DOG DAYS - and now this Sacred and Ancient Knowledge is more easily available - and finally I have been able to grasp it!
Atlantis is NOT returning - the energies which were testing humanity 13000 years ago are returning - and this time WE ARE READY to receive them with an open HEART, in LOVE and ACCEPTANCE of whatever is to come according to God's Divine Plan ...

During meditation for the past few months sometimes i get these images of eyes looking at me..Grey type eyes..actually the whole head of a gray looking back..
And last night, had this crazy dream..I was on the floor of a VERY WHITE corridor.. with doors..ceiling was white..floor was white..all was white..
Next thing, i see is this man..he wore at coat similar to those that the doctors use..white coat..he had the hair of Einstein..all spiky fluffy…
