THE SECOND LEADERSHIP QUALITY IS LOVE:- The second key leadership quality is love. Love and personal power are the two most important ingredients to psychospiritual health! The ideal leader has what might be called tough love. He/she is tough as nails in his focus and discipline but loving and harmless as the Virgin Mary. A true leader never attacks and is never negatively angry. He might have positive anger, an expression of the Spiritual Warrior Archetype, or great First Ray destructive energy used in a positive sense to destroy outdated fprm, but he is never negatively angry. True Spiritual leaders in whatever field always use their power in a loving way. Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini all had personal power, but they obviously didn’t have love. One of the great tests of the Spiritual Path as disciples and initiates move into leadership is the test of power. Will the power go to their heads and will it become abused? It will if they have not done their Spiritual homework on learning how to control their negative egos within themselves. When run by the negative ego, leadership is used for self-centered selfish, misguided purposes. Instead of using this positive of power to help and serve others, the position is used to help and serve one’s selfish goals and aims. It need great wisdom (third Ray) and love (Second Ray).
