Thank you for inviting me into this group. Growing up in the Four Corners area of New Mexico in southwest United States area, we always would go out into nature and follow trails and look for arrowheads. I always landed up distracted by the beauty of all the rocks and rarely came across arrowheads. That was fine with me because I have always loved all rocks and always amazed by the different shapes and colors. Whenever I am outside I am always looking down at all the rocks and whenever I visit certain places, I always seem to be drawn to a certain rock or crystal that serves as souvenir to me. I know the people I would go hiking with thought I was crazy because I always come back with a pocket full of rocks that seem to stand out to me (lol). Something that draws me to certain rocks is that I see eyes in them. I know it sounds crazy but when I point them out to other people they see them also, as normally they would just be rocks to them before. My boyfriend jokes with me that I just need more friends, (lol) instead of studying the rocks so much. Needless to say, I was very happy to see this group. After all that confessional, I will make it a point to take pictures of some of my rocks to show all of you what I mean. Holding a special rock in my hands warms my heart.

Ah - YES!!! And I have the feeling that right beneath my house there is such a real big treasure, lol! But soooo deep down that no-one will ever be able to get this egg shaped crystals out from there that is as big as our whole house - and this is because it is MEANT to STAY there, lol!!!
I will travel to it one day ... for the moment I can simply FEEL its presence, hahaha!
Thank you for this wonderful reminder, Sarah, of how AWSOME nature and the very ground beneath our feet really IS!!!
