February 11th: The beginning of a new 260 day cycle according to Carl Johan Calleman

Dear Lightgrid Family,

 

Yesterday we celebrated the end of a 260 day cycle and today, February 11th, 2011, a new 260 day cycle starts with 1 Imix - according to information given by Carl Johan Calleman.

 

I have been studying the Maya Calender for 12 years now and very clearly see that there aremany different streams and theories accompanying this magnificent tool given to us by our Pleiadian Ancestors. Thus, according to the traditional Kiché Calender it is right that today is 1 Imix - but in this tradition the beginning of a 260 day cycle is on another date - 8 Batz - ... and according to the Calender promoted by José Argüelles, we have an entirely different date - which is 10 Muluc.

I know that all this is contributing to a lot of misunderstandings and confusionabout the Mayan Calender and of course everathing that is concerned about the related end time prophecies. 

My own experiences tell me, that it does not really matter, what name we give each day - what is important is the underlying structure of 20 days x 13 tones. Therefore, I would like to invite you to embark on a very personal group journey from today onwards: For the coming twenty days I will post basic information on the quality of the days in r group on Mayan Cosmology, which gives all who are interested in learning more about the QUALITY of time and the Mayan Calender the chance to do so. It would be most beneficial if you kept a diary, so you can compare your own experiences with what is said about the QUALITY of TIME. And of course I encourage you to share your experiences with the group - especially if you have the feeling that it is important for others as well or if you would like to see if anyone else has had similar experiences! 

 

I will post the information in our group on Mayan Cosmology and invite all, who are interested, to join this group. In this way you won't automatically receive information which you might not be interested in - it is up to you whether you would like to join us in this quest to learn more about the Mayan Calender or not.

IMIX is the day sign - the first of twenty. The colour or this sign is RED and it is associated with the EAST

The number 1 is represented by a dot Today is RED MAGNETIC DRAGON according to the Kiche Calender, magnetic referring to the quality of the number one - red referring to the colour of the sign (east - and Dragon = Imix

Understanding the Suns of the East

The Mayan word for east is "Likin". East is represented by the color red. In Mayan it is called "Chau" The suns of the east are represented by the Suns IMIX, CHICCHAN, MULUC, BEN and CABAN. East is where the sun rises. It is the direction of "coming to power" or the "birth", the renewal of life. These Eastern days can be very powerful. It is a good time to start projects or at least begin to create them in your dream time. In the suns of the east, issues such as struggling with personal problems or concerns with the establishment of self arise. Let us look at these five suns in detail during our 20 day journey through all day signs.

= Imix. The left hand/side. Intuition. Development of the 6,7 and 8th senses. - ee’meesh - The Dragon. Imix lives by instinct in the physical world. Imix initiates and births new creations. It contributes by being an informer, and does well transmitting information. Imix in ruled by the throat chakra, and is the power behind it's informing nature. Imix is a water Sun and is always dealing with a lot of feelings. It is ruled by Neptune. Imix can be energetic, creative, protective and dominating in a parental way. It is by nature a sensitive and private sun. Imix is always challenged to become free from feelings of rejection.

The Sacred Pulse of Creation
The Sacred Numbers of the Maya

The world around us is a living school teaching us how the universe works. We find examples every day within the simplest expressions of creation. If you have ever gazed upon an inch worm, crawling along, you have witnessed an example of how the universe works with the creative pulse of creation. The inch worm crawls in an undulating fashion. It moves forward in a burst of energy, hurling itself forward. Then it gathers up the remaining portion of its body until all of its mass is collected together again, in a mound of life force. Now it is ready for the entire process to repeat. It is ready to pulse forward again. Watching an inch worm use the creative life pulse to move forward, teaches us everything we need to know about the creative pulse of creation we use every day.

The traditional Maya understand this sacred pulse of creation through the symbol "G". This "G" symbol is a representation of the cosmic egg and our galaxy, the Milky Way. It is pronounced "Hay" or "Hay ya". Native Americans sing "Hay ya", the sacred "G", to the heavens still today. They are aware of the source of this energy we create from comes from the universe.

The Maya explain the pulse of creation, the "G", by using 13 numbers. These 13 numbers are a map of the creative pulse and defines how the pulse manifests in the physical world. Like the undulating, pulsing inch worm, the numbers do not work separately from each other. They work together to generate a complete pulse of energy that we use for creating. The energy established with each number is the foundation for the next number.

This unified creative pulse is broken down into 13 parts (1-13) which explains the process of creation in detail. Unlike the inch worm, the energy created by the 13 sacred numbers are non-physical. The best way we can define these sacred numbers is by calling them the energy of memory, possibility, intention and spirit. They are non-physical and are just raw energy, until a consciousness places an intention or purpose and begins to create from it.

This energy of 13 parts of creative pulse, can be explained in various sizes of time - space - experience. Since time in the universe is spherical and unending, we can use this power of 13 in any size time frame, as long as it does not lose its symmetry. The 13 parts could be, 13 seconds, 13 breaths, 13 months, 13 years, 13 centuries. Remember here that all these possibilities are working simultaneously. We experience these creative cycles within cycles, as a web that weaves our reality. There are large intentions placed by the mass consciousness. This would look like a large programs like "the sky is blue or the grass is green". Everyone aggress to these programs. They encompass all earthly manifestation. There are simple, small intentions that we create individually, like what we will transpire in the next few moments. These are created individually. The small intentions are influenced by the larger programs and fit into a frame work where all intentions work together in harmony.

So how do we create using the pulse of life with these sacred numbers? Let us define each of the 13 numbers individually.
