ning payment ... an opportunity for UNITY?!?

Dear friends of Unity

 

As we came together here just before this announcement I suggest we think of the changes in terms of Unity ...

 

I for my part won't start a new lightgrid site I have to pay for but I'm rather looking for another site, maybe OM or HH or Unification Project if they decide to maintain their own site. I see this as an opportunity for unity! The only question is where?

 

Of course, when I read the statement by Jason Rosenthal it's hard for me as well to stay calm ... but I've decided to see this as an opprotunity, maybe the answer to our prayers for unity ... What to you think?

I still don't know exactly how it will be done, but if we have to repost everything again, I will need everyone's help and in this discussion we can decide first WHAT to move and then WHO's going to move what ... I was daily thinking about this subject but never asked you !

This Ning is a premier site and we have to give some contribution.....

On my site I wanted to close it but one of my friends from U.K. came forward to pay the amount for the one year and it remain continued....And after that few came out to help also.....I have just to day morning asked Him what we can do then ?

Spurz is also a site but it's not easy going !

You can discuss this issue on Administrartive group also.....

You can put a link for payment on the main page.....by cards of any .....ning can agree !!!

When we had this discussion of moving or paying, we really went through a difficult time ... in the beginning I didn't want to pay a I was already investing so much time and energy in the site that I didn't want to pay for it on top of it all ... but then I decided to do it and it turned out to be the best solution ... it is easier for me to pay te required amount as I live in Austria and earn enough money as a teacher so I can do this ... I think the discussion will start again when ning is going to tell us that we need a premium account as we need too much space ... but for now we do not need to put up a pay pall account for that.

 

If you face the same problem and decide one day to move your site - you are of course welcome to move it to lightgrid. You could add content to already existing groups - and open new groups if necessary. Please know that you are always WELCOME! And do not worry about payment - we are provided for andyou need not pay here at lightgrid - as long as I can work as a teacher I can pay the fee.

Dear Sonja,

For me Payment is not a much problem but I have no account and I do not want any card for me....

But On Better world more than 700 friends are there and few are there to help but I do not want that pay pal account on my page so I have asked my Chief Administrator if he can do that on his page.....

If Ning persons will allow them.....

Otherwise for members it will be always free.

If any problem will arise then I will Quit.....

You are trying to help me for my work to be shifted but it's very impossible....

Lot of work is there and it's very time consuming !Once I have gone thro' then I have no time for repeatation for any thing....
