My 17 year old daughter was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia yesterday!

Hello All,

I took my daughter in yesterday to the doctor-and we made use of the 100 signs/symptoms of Fibro from. She checked all her symptoms and I knew before she even filled it out that she had it. I have been seeing it slowly rear it's ugly head in her.She is going through quite a lot right now with her father=trauma and the symptoms started coming even quicker.She will be recieving excellent treatment from one of the best childrens hospitals in the states(Riley).She will be seeing a rheumatologist there.

At first I was numb, then last night as I watched her sleep my heart broke. I know they have said it's genetic. I just never expected 17 years old. We sat down and had a wonderful talk about it.She feels ok with it because I have it-so it gave her some comfort there. I just told her hopefully we'll get a cure by the time she's my age. I explained to her that hers would not be as bad as mine because I have overlapping conditions BUT that she needed to really take care of herself.

Couldn't sleep at all last night, my mind was like a hamster wheel. I'm flaring today from lack of sleep and I think the entire situation.

U don't have to thanks Angela, is our mission to help us one another. The energies that we have been receiving are so strong that some of us can't assimilate them as fast as they have been send. We feel that in our physical bodies. Any ways, that was a message that I received the other day. Dear Angela,

I wondered if you had tried the nutritional approach? Having worked in this field and understand the primary treatment goals in fibromyalgia are to raise serotonin levels, improve sleep quality and assure adequate magnesium levels. Supplementaion of 5 HTP and magnesium has produced some very good results in treating fibromyalgia and CFS. Just a thought that this might be an avenue of interest to you. Don't give up - go find yourself a good naturopath.

Hi Jewel,

Yes-I have taken a nutritional approach. Many supplements. My husband and I started taking things in our own hands when I wasn't recieving the care I needed from my doctors.I've been on supplements since I first found in 07 out and have added since. My daughter is going to start this regimen as well.Thank You:)I appreciate the advice and the healing!

That is excellant news. My motivation was to share the GOOD that I know can come from using natural medicine appropriately. It can literally change peoples lives. Through the blessing of doing this work I know it has changed mine and my families.
