March  2015 The Grandmothers Speak Newsletter In This Issue Grandmother Gatherings "The present imbalance of energy on earth has placed all life in danger. It is time to return to balance, and for this, women must lead." The Great Council of the Grandmothers are calling us to step into our power, calling women and men to reach out to one another in love. All are welcome to this work.  "We will fill you full.  Let us."     On Mothers Day the Grandmothers showed up as I read the morning paper. "Stop what you are doing now," they said, "and think of your connection to the earth. You may think it is your floor or chair that is supporting you, but it is the earth. Earth underlies everything," they reminded me, "houses, trains, planes, roadways-everything. And now is the time for you to renew your kinship with the earth, the nurturer and supporter of life.   "Just for a moment," they said, "pull back from the eternal busyness of your mind, call on the Net of Light, and turn to your heart, and as you focus in your heart, you will  ecome aware of your body. Feel your body's weight and then drop right into it, down and down until you finally recognize that you are one with the earth itself. Feel it! Recognize that you are not separate. You are not alone. You are inextricably linked with earth.   "Now relax and let yourself sink into the earth. Go into it," they said. "Down and down through the soil, rocks, and the various layers of strata. Explore the terrain and move around within the earth itself. Notice the colors here and observe that every time you breathe in, you are breathing in from your Mother. Open to receiving what She has to give you. Peace, steadiness, healing, rest, nourishment, minerals, and much more,"they said. "She is ever-giving. The Mother takes joy in sharing all that she has. Receive it now. Rest with Her and receive.   "It is time to move out of the busy machinations of your brain into your own deep intelligence. When you are grounded in your being, when you are connected to the Net of Light and to Mother Earth, you automatically feel good. And when you are scrambling around in your brain, racing from thought to thought, from image to worry, to image, you don't feel good.   "So drop down now, drop deep into your radiant essence. You are not a fragmented, separated human being, racing from stimulus to stimulus, fearful and agitated as you run. No! You are great!" the Grandmothers declared. "You are one with all life. Own that. Release the worry, release the fretting, fuming, and despair, and let yourself be held.   "You are one with the radiant Net of Light that connects, cradles, and supports all that is. Call on the Net of Light often and drop into your intimate connection with the Great Mother. And in this place of oneness, rest and let Her fill you."   In A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak, the Grandmothers put it simply: They say, "We will fill you full. Let us."   Please Call upon the Net of Light to support us as we do intensive work with the earth at the Gatherings of the Grandmothers in Latvia, May 19, in Lithuania May 23-24, and in England, Ma6 29-31. Our goal is deep healing, and our reach will be broad. The Great Council of the Grandmothers is taking us to greater depths. Their message is as ever a return to balance between Yin and Yang and a respect for the underlying unity of all life. They ask that we live in the One Love and they offer to guide us past the superficial boundaries of nationality, time, and space. Together we will heal the past and in so doing, heal the present. We will connect the lands where we are gathering with the Net of Light. This will bring healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation into many dimensions. Working with the Grandmothers, we will: Connect the earth with the purity of the Net of Light to heal old wounds. Connect with the ancestors of the light within the specific locations where we will gather Harmonize relationships to mend the wounds of individuals, cultures, races, and nations. Here is another image that I picked up yesterday.

I live in an urban environment so I look for every patch of grass to walk barefoot on and tree that I can hug. The Earth nurtures us with her electromagnetic energy when our body has contact with her. 

Our Mother is always there to care for us.
