Many people are familiar with the term indigo or crystal children. This may have been through sources like the internet and other media. These specially gifted children are quite set apart from the others. Psychic children are much like other psychics having the ability to see ghosts, read people's future through their palms and other abilities. Psychic abilities seem to be evident in the toddler years, since this is when the brain is starting to grow and to develop. It is still much untainted by experiences of this world and therefore much clearer and unobstructed.
Some of the most common abilities that children have include
Empathy
Empathy also called clairsentience is the ability to feel sense and interpret the emotions of others. Animals, spirits or other human beings could possess these emotions. These are not because of interpreting body language since any average human being can do that. It is the establishment of a connection between individuals, which allows for communication of these feelings. The signs of this ability include
The child crying when other children cry
Compassion and display of love towards others including plants and animals
Knowing exactly how a person feels even with their best efforts to conceal it.
Telepathy
This is the ability to perceive the thoughts of a person or be able to communicate one's own. It also encompasses the ability to implant one's thoughts and images into another person's mind. Nursing mothers and their children experience this the most. They are able to communicate through mental telepathy. The signs of this ability include
Adults are able to finish other people's sentences even on subjects that are not familiar to them.
Draws or talks about a certain subject just a few minutes before someone else was about to do the same thing.
Dreaming the same exact dreams as someone else
Being able to tell that someone needs attention even before they ask for it
Seeing
Technically, this is clairvoyance, which is the ability of a child to see into the future. They do this through premonitions into the future. Many read people's palms while others are able to do this by reading tea leaves. Children that have this ability at times find it hard to cope with them since they seem like nightmares that later come true. They also face the challenge of teases from their peers that may cause some of them to try to suppress their abilities. The signs that a child has these abilities include them being able to see and talk about upcoming events.
Coping with psychic abilities can be hard for children and they need proper guidance on how to go about it.

Thank you for this post.

my Daughter, has most of these...calls herself  'psychic pessimist' (extremely discerning and intuitive, thankfully).

The skills/gifts are amplifying, at irregular intervals;  she's handling it very well.

As I have a tiny amt, compared to her, it's incredible (a gift), to watch, learn with and love her, along this journey.

Are there any Legitimate internet resources for them? If anyone has suggestions, please share.

I've thought of starting one, with her help...she prefers being incognito  (understand her perfectly, about that). 

A resource would be awesome, as it can be really scary, at first for some.

Discernment and intuition are KEY, KEY, KEY.
