Dark Matter and Dark Energy

Dark matter are invisible objects that react with matter by gravitational force. Scientists believe that the dark matter is made up of exotic particles like WIMPs(Weakly Interacting Massive Particles).In physical cosmology, dark energy is an exotic form of energy that permeates all of space and tends to increase the rate of expansion of the universe.Dark energy is the most popular way to explain recent observations that the universe appears to be expanding at an accelerating rate. In the standard model of cosmology, dark energy currently accounts for 73% of the total mass-energy of the universe.

 

 

Dark matter cannot be seen - but its effect can be observed ... an invisible mass which has its effects on GRAVITY - which affects everything according to Einstein ;-)

 

The more mass - the more gravitational pull - the slower it should travel ... but the rotational curves of galaxies, for example do not follow this rule ... they seem to spin 10 times too fast

 

 

Is there 10 times more dark matter than illuminated matter?!?

 

Gravitational Lensing helps to map the distortion of light in galaxies, revealing BLACK HOLES - but much more dark matter must be there than can be detected in Black Holes.

 

Is dark matter everywhere?!?

 

It never collides with ordinary matter... but it changes the TEMPERATURE of it!

 

 

and again - the Big Bang ... before which there was no centre and no direction ... ordinary matter was reacting with ordinary matter - and dark matter was created. It helped ordinary matter to clump together - ordinary matter attaching itself to it!

 

Dark matter is like the skeleton around which shining matter is lumping - and it makes up 23 % of the universe m-whereas ordinary matter only makes up 4 % - and then there is a repulsing energy which is driving everything apart ...

 

 

... and the universe is speeding up!

 

This energy which stretches the expansion of the universe is now known as DARK ENERGY -n and it is creating SPACE through the extension of matter or rather: the expanding universe!

 

 

Dark energy is different form dark matter - it is the energy of vacuum -the energy of NOTHING.

They are both assumed to have been created at the moment of the Big Bang. In the beginning dark matter was slowing down the expansion of the universe -but once the universe had become big enough, after at about 9 billions year, that is 5 billion years ago, the universe began to expand at an accelerated pace.

Yes!  I have this understanding ~ myriads of universes popping in and out of expressions like bubbles ~ something to contemplate in a bubble bath :-)

 

Also understanding the "speeding up" of "rate of expansion ~ as the Infinite is within the Infinitesimal so too as mystics experience ~ as Consciousness expands it becomes Beyond any time the mind can comprehend and expansion "leads" to Oneness as the veils, or illusions of perimeters, disappear ~ the Void becomes Known and Experienced because there are no more veils to separate ~ the Darkness of the Void is more Radiant than Light can express separate from Darkness as Darkness and Light Become One ~ there is no more space because space con notates space "between" and as Oneness is One there are no more perimeters to be space between ~~~  Dark Energy as Consciousness ItSelf ~~~~ is everywhere, flowing through everything ~~~~ the Buddhists have expressed as Ultimate Reality "co-exisiting" as relative reality ~ all we see as physical universe is relative reality arising from the illusions of creative expression of Ultimate reality ~~~~ (apologies if I haven't expressed this well ~ indeed is more expansive than this little mindstream :-)   ~~~ though as a being experienced in the dance of the Great and Deathless Void ~~~~
