This song comes along on the radio and I was immediately tuned into the text and the question that was raised, actually these 4 lines stuck with me. For isn't it the hardest thing at times? Is our love strong and unconditional, or demanding and created or build on insecurity?When we are challenged we know how deep our love is, another song that came to mind this morning by the Bee Gees.

We all have this need to feel loved and beloved. In our connection with each other we can feel acceptance for who we are, or we need to feel changed caused by denial and remarks coming from another place. Not love, born in fear. How hard is it to answer to the question at times. Would you still love me the same, if I showed you my flaws or am not strong enough? How deep is your love? Do you trust and have faith in me? Do you have high expectations for me? Can I step up to these expectations in a relationship. It all depends on how unconditional our love is we can share with anyone we fall in love with, isn't it?

Now all these lyrics apply in the love we seek within the other, outside our selves. No matter what kind of relationship, yet the most appealing one is of course the romantic Love relationship. Within this relationship we mirror each other, showing our love and accepting our flaws as well our insecurities. Or is this the romantic version in a perfect setting, with perfect people and an unconditional love? Can this be truth, can this be reality in our day to day life? What needs to be done if we fail to feel this way when someone makes an error, intentionally or unintentionally? When we feel hurt or want to lash back in anger or fear. Should we blame ourselves or the other, should we offer forgiveness to ourselves or the other?

If I show you my flaws, would you still love me the same? You know whenever you show your insecurity, your anger, your hurt the other one will no doubt react on this emotion. The more we need affirmation by the other, the more we get into this danger zone of not being loved by showing your flaws. At least not the same is our experience when we grow up from childhood into our adulthood and maturing ages. It already starts early age by the rollmodels our parents set out for us, isn't it? They are our first teachers about love and how conditional or unconditional this is. We integrate and internalize these experiences to be molded in our own character and ability to learn.

So when it comes to learning how love works, often we receive the wrong messages through society, religion, our community how we should behave. What is allowed when it comes to race and gender for instance. Or we learn to believe we are sinners and never ever can be redeemed. What happened with love along the way? How hard can it be at times to find love in situations that are being created by others, let alone ourselves. Instead of asking the question to your partner or any other relationship would you still love me the same, can we address this question to ourself? Can we be the Creator we are meant to be and Love with a confident and open heart, filled with trust and able to stand for our own way of learning through the teachings we need and create. We can own our inner love again if we learn and accept the flaws we have or the mistakes we make along the way.

When it comes down to it, how deep is your love towards yourself. Can you accept your flaws as well your ability to show strength or when you are not able to be strong the way you want to be? Can you look at yourself with eyes filled with this unconditional Love, that says you are loved with flaws, insecurity, weakness included? For you are you, a unique part of the whole. Because we are all inner connected with this Source of Life and Love, we are also part of this agreement or alignment with the infinite flow of loving energy. Can you see to yourself, I love you, I believe in you You know the door to my very soul. You're the light in my deepest darkest hour. You're my Savior when I fall.

For isn't this the most important lesson of all for us to learn? You may not think I care for you. When you know down inside that I really do. And it's me you need to show. We are learning self love when we start loving the steps along the way. When we can create a loving environment for ourselves as well our loved ones. Knowing deep down inside your own heart this love is there for you to expand and experience the self worth as well your dignity and honor to be all you can Be. Being your own Lover stepping through the door of your Soul to bring your Light and be your own savior when you need it. Stepping into the brightness and awareness and the question is no longer needed, for your Love is as deep as rivers and mountains high.
