Insight in Cruelty and the lack of Love

Dear beloved One
You ask me about cruelty.
Cruelty is one of the most difficult lessons
To understand.
It’s almost the direct opposite of Love
And tenderness.
Being cruel to anyone,
Regardless of age, gender, race, 
human or animal kingdom,
Is just the opposite tone of joy and pleasure. 
Often it is combined with joy and pleasure and power,
Or the need to overpower anything besides one self,
For therein lies the root.
There is no feel of self-love projected outwards
Just to feel there is existence and a purpose
For the soul to be alive and going through
The darkest corners of soul itself.
Suffering can cause this extremity of
Lack of empathy and lack of love for oneself 
and there for every other creature,
Human and animal.
It is a power structure build on hate and anger
And often turned against itself,
to not feel the painful memories and experiences.
One can choose to be no longer a victim of circumstances 
and to become the perpetrator of some sort to lash out, 
without any boundaries at times.
What if I tell you there is also an act of love to be found
In cruelty, inflicted and triggered again deep within themselves 
for no specific reason as it might seem at times 
yet it always comes from
The lack of love, which is felt deep within.
No trust, no faith, no hope of some sort
That love exists at all.
Therefor there is no love to be found
Deep within the soul as well.
All the emotions that comes with abuse, fear, 
sadness, are turned outward in a lashing act of rage.
Not being or feeling worthy of any kind of love,
Creates an outward reaction to punish,
Instead of being punished to feel power,
Instead of powerless.
Should we not feel their pain and agony?
Should we not care for them and their pain and anguish,
which creates this form of self-destruction?

If you can say I love my enemy
I forgive my enemy
I thank my enemy
I am sorry that there is so much pain within you
And I am You as well.

Maybe not to this extension
Yet are you not also capable of hurting someone else
Physically, emotionally, mentally and psychically
To some degree because you also have been in a place
Of self-lowing, no self-love,
Of worthlessness, instead of feeling worthy
To be alive.
It takes courage, love and perseverance to dive
deep within these dark aspects of your soul
And bring them to light
So they can be forgiven, to be healed again.

Don’t judge a book by its cover,
Or like the saying goes: 
you have to walk a mile in someone’s shoes
To know and understand a little bit what
Life experiences someone has gone through
And from which place actions come from.
Don’t pass judgment so easily if you don’t know
The whole story behind the reactions or actions.
Not even your Creator passes judgment and 
Will always love every spark of Divinity
Which you all are, unconditionally.
Losing your Innocence is far more difficult
To heal by someone who takes innocence,
Then the innocence itself.

And so it is

The lack of love in this state of cruelty is, is hard for me to imagine from my privileged place of sensing the love that I receive. But, I know that this is the true cause of cruelty and the perpetrators of it need love to heal. They are the ones who need love the most.

Thank you Ishema, there are not many people who understand this on such a deep level. For it takes the soul connection to be able to love and feel compassion with those souls who are so disconnected with their inner spark of love. I think my understanding is intellectual only. We can reject the behavior without rejecting the actor of it. Being able to feel compassion for such a one is a deeper level still. This is something that only experience creates.

Dear Ishema, I could only write this by experience from the depth of my soul and heart going through this deep process of feeling with love and compassion how difficult this is for those who heft lost their inner connection with love. The shame, the frustration yet most of all, their loss of innocence which is such a deep emotional wound to be healed again, that only can be achieved through love
