I visualize the United States of America being the beacon of light, the framers of  our constitution envisioned for her to become.

Thank you for your post, but even more so, for this image.

When I first saw it, I had to grab ahold of myself!  These stairs leading down  into the stars... they hit me to my core.

It had never occurred to me, before, that this staircase existed anywhere OUTSIDE of me!

I built a staircase like this, inside of me, way  back in the 1970s -- so that I could fall asleep at night. The only difference was that my stairs were rock-hewn in the side of a mountain, like old, strong lava rock, maybe... and at the bottom, there wasn't a complete view of a galaxy ... just dark, dark space... an infinite cradle  for me, filled with stars.

Whenever I couldn't sleep, or often just for the comfort of it... down, down, down, slowly I would go. The trick was to NOT just jump wildly, freely, and too impatiently, into the free-float embrace of space!  

I would lightly drag my fingers so as to feel the mineral roughness, try to listen for birdsounds or whispers... step by step, disciplining myself to try to care about adn notice and even appreciate each each footfall on dirt and pebbles, or the sprout of green poking through a crevice nearby... 

My rock staircase down the mountain started out about as wide as this one but narrowed to almost body-width as I descended ... I don't think there WAS an official end to it because always, with huge relief and what was for me, then, a very-rare feeling of joy...  I would at last let myself just lose patience and...           

L  E   A   P !!!

Into utter safety... into weightlessness... into dark, dark, welcoming nothing (amidst faraway stars). Into a place of  "no more performance, no more pretense"...  just being love and so loved...

Wow. And now my own so-private staircase is looking back at me, thanks to you, from my computer screen.

And the fact of talking about it now, for the first time, ever, brings hot tears to my eyes.  Both for the rushing memory of the sweet and total solace of that nightly leap -- and for how very "deeply, secretly alone" I -- and so many of us! -- truly, truly, truly felt in those days.

Which makes me realize that however unbearable this current season of WAITING feels... it ain't nothing!

Today, we are long past the the earth-decades when we didn't have the "togetherness" consciousness to moan and groan and encourage each other thru the wait!  When there were not even words or concepts like  "starseed" -- let alone "light-being!"   No mantras from St. Germain or practical instructions from Hathors... No forums where I could just blurt memories like this to folks who would totally understand...

SO, TODAY I SAY:  Thank you, Lord of ALL, Up There!   Thank you for sites like this... thank You for our Rising... Thank you for this reminder, today, that things ACTUALLY HAVE SO CHANGED... and that even tho' I am the only person I know in my 3D-Michigan-USA life who has to try very hard to keep my eyes OFF the skies while driving a car...

I thank you LORDOFALL  that I can FEEL it!  I DO feel Earth rising. 

I also, with a piercing ache, THAN YOU, dearest SOURCE, that so many years ago, You tucked within me the knowledge of how to build my own little stairway down into the stars, and always let me lullaby-leap, with abandon, into Your arms.

Thank you Ruth for your beautiful story about the stair. I am glad my picture touched you. I have been choosing the pictures that I post intuitively. Sometimes they don't make sense to my mind, but I post them anyway.

I can identify with your lonely feeling when you were young. I was born when the only spirituality that was recognized in the US was protestant or catholic. I didn't talk about my spirituality for 25 years. If I did talk spirituality it was in the language of the church. When I found groups like this on line I was overjoyed! It is a feeling of coming Home!

Thank you for sharing yourSelf so freely and openly - your words have touched me deeply, Ruth! I, too, see the changes all around me ... and they are definitley for the better - oh so much better :-)))

Should the time arrive one day that the internet does not work anymore - we now KNOW about each other and that we are ALL CONNECTED, safe and LOVED eternally! This makes such a difference to me ... to know that at certain times I can reach out to all of you - and that these times are becoming ALL TIME now - now that we are learning to LISTEN to the Silent Voice of our HEARTS!

When this happens - that we meet our private visions in the outside - we recieve proof that these visions are not just imagination - but that through them we are ACCESSING a higher reality where we can actually MEET :-)
