EVENT DESCRIPTION

White Buffalo Woman

There was a time, before the plains Indians had horses to hunt.. the young
men would walk for day in search of food. One summer two young men
were out hunting when in the distance they saw a young and very
beautiful woman in white doe skins.
As the woman came closer, they could see that her buckskin were
decorated with sacred designs in rainbow-colored porcupine quills. She
carried a bundle on her back, and a fan of fragrant sage leaves in her hand.
Her hair was the color of a raven and glistened in the sun as obsidian.
