Hay House Rises to the Challenge!

President and CEO, Reid Tracy and COO, Margarete Nielsen were recently nominated by Hay House authors Nick Ortner and Robert Holden to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge.

In order to raise money and awareness for the ALS Association, Reid and Margarete decided to ask employees to bid on buckets of ice—and the employee or group of employees who bid the highest received the honors of dumping the ice over their heads! Pretty cool, huh?

Lots of laughter and cheering ensued as the bids went higher and higher—from the US to the UK, everyone got in on the action.

Hay House employees bid a total of $655! Not bad for a couple of buckets of ice, right?

But you have to see what happened during the ice pouring. It left one of our leaders shivering long after the challenge...in a good way and for a great cause, of course.

To keep the ALS awareness and charity fund raising going, Hay House is donating 10x the employee bid—for a grand total of $7,205! And Reid and Margarete wanted to share the chilling fun with a few more Hay House authors. Margarete nominated the Hay House Executive Team plus authors John Holland and Michael Neill. Reid nominated authors Mike Dooley and Cheryl Richardson. We hope to see some more fun videos from our authors as they take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!
