Yet, as the Secret Book of John reminds us, the soul that attains gnosis (direct inner knowing) rises above these cosmic cycles. The alignments and energies of August 9th through August 15, 2026, are significant, but they do not command you; they do not rule you. On the final day of our forecast window, Venus reaches its greatest distance from the Sun as seen from Earth, shining brilliantly in the western sky after sunset. Venus represents the "Divine Feminine" or Sophia in her aspect of beauty and attraction. At greatest elongation, her light is most distinct from the solar glare. This alignment supports the "Assumption of Sophia"—the process of the soul rising out of the "mud" of material obsession to recognize its own inherent worth.
