Tending

 

We gather at a sacred threshold.

The hearth fire of Imbolc burns softly.

The full moon offers her clear mirror.

The great turning stirs—not to frighten us,

but to realign us with truth and care.

We meet this moment with grace.

We meet it with honesty.

We meet it with complete and utter compassion.

Let this practice be a remembering

of your inner compass,

your steady center,

your Sat Nam:

truth as lived, truth as kindness, truth as presence.

May the fire warm and not consume.

May clarity arise without harm.

May courage be guided by the heart.

May all that unfolds be held in love.

Big T truth, the kind that expands and clarifies, the truth that illuminates compassion and grace. Truth that is larger than this moment, than what happens or my actions, truth that guides cosmic flow. Joining this flow, softening into trust that everything is for us, the Universe is friendly and we can remember, we can feel this alignment with a kind turning of our eyes upward, or inward to the spark of our own dear hearts. There is a wonderful confluence of wisdom traditions within the next few weeks; Imbolc, marking the halfway point between winter solstice and spring equinox, the time to celebrate Brigid, the Celtic saint or goddess (depends on your tradition focus) the keeper of the hearth. Full moon on Sunday, the beginning of lunar alignments that create eclipses, marking change. Then the Chinese new year and the change in earth energy to flow with the fire horse; compassionate intuitive healing and community strength. I mean no disrespect to any of these traditional celebrations and reflective time by addressing them all in our yoga nidra guided practice on Sunday, I see a beautiful weaving of wisdom streams that I hope to honor in our practice together. So, if you can, please add your energy to our own stream as we join live on Zoom to breathe with relaxed intention, 7PM PST, for about 45 minutes. No camara, just set your device by your chair, bed or mat, listen to the sounds of gentle chimes, bowls, and drum to call us home. Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a guided, effortless meditation technique practiced lying down in Savasana to induce profound relaxation while maintaining full consciousness. It bridges the gap between waking and sleeping, using body scans, breath awareness, and imagery to reduce stress and promote deep, restorative healing.

 

Infinite Gratitude By Patricia Cota-Robles   Precious Hearts, From the deepest recesses of my Heart, I want you to know that I AM tangibly experiencing your Loving support, your compassion, your prayers and your condolences during this sacred time in my life. Even during moments of my most profound grief, I feel as though I AM wrapped in a fluffy pink blanket of Love and Comfort. For this I AM Eternally Grateful. I am sorry to be sending this expression of my Infinite Gratitude collectively instead of individually, but I promise you that I AM reading every one of the over two-thousand emails and myriad beautiful cards I have received. Dear One, I AM including in this email the eulogy our daughter Tori gave at Dickie’s Memorial Service. For those of you who did not know him, I feel this eulogy will give you a glimpse of his beautiful Heart. I AM also sharing with you in this email Dickie’s final expression of Gratitude to our Father-Mother God for embodiment on Earth during this sacred time.       DADDY’S LOVE BY TORI COTA-ROBLES I had the privilege of having Dickie Cota-Robles as my Dad; a man whose life was an expression of unconditional Love. My Dad was the sweetest, most Loving, and compassionate person I have ever known. His strength flowed through gentleness, and his Love was something you felt beyond words. His Presence carried a serenity that always made us feel calm, steady, and safe. I was sharing with my Mom the other day that I do not have a memory of my Dad raising his voice. Instead, he always met us with patience, kindness, and an open Heart. He showed my Mom, my brother, his grandsons, and me what it looks like to Love without conditions, without judgment, and without expectation. His Love was not just something he expressed, it was something he embodied. I was so incredibly blessed to come into this world with him as my Dad. From the very beginning, he made me feel protected, supported, and cherished simply for being who I am. My parents shared the same deep strength and Love, each expressing it in their own way; my Mom through grace, and my Dad through gentleness. Together, they created a beautiful and sacred balance.  When life brought us challenges, my Dad brought us calm and reassurance. He always reminded us that everything would be okay. He taught us that true strength is gentle and it is patient. Strength is rooted in Love, and Love can be chosen again and again. My Dad Loved deeply, and he was deeply Loved. Although we feel the ache of his physical absence, his Presence and Love did not leave with him. It continues to live through us in the way we speak to one another, in the way we offer compassion, in the way we support each other, and in the way we choose Love even in the most challenging moments. Thank you, Daddy, for being exactly who you were. Thank you for your tenderness, your serenity, and your unwavering Love. Thank you for teaching us that gentleness is a strength, and that Love is the truest way to live. We carry you, your Light, and your Love within our Hearts always. Your Love remains eternally woven into our Hearts and our lives.   Dickie’s Final Expression of Gratitude to God   Dear God, from your Glorious Heart I came into Being, and now that my service here on Earth is complete, I AM returning to your Loving Embrace where I will continue my service in the Light to ALL Life everywhere. Thank you for the privilege of having Life and of having a physical embodiment during this sacred time, when the Immaculate Concept of Heaven on Earth is being Cocreated on this blessed Planet. This is being Lovingly accomplished through the unified efforts of Awakening Humanity and the Company of Heaven. Thank you for the Gift of Forgiveness through the Power of the Violet Flame of God’s Infinite Perfection. Through this Gift, all that is not of the Light that I or others have Created, either deliberately or inadvertently, is being purified and returned to Light. Thank you for sustaining, through the Heart Flames of Awakening Humanity and the Company of Heaven the Bridge to Freedom over which Mother Earth and All Life evolving upon her are Ascending into the Realms of Illumined Truth. To this end I now individually and collectively, as a surrogate on behalf of ALL Humanity, offer my Light, the Cup of my Consciousness and my I AM Presence as a Holy Grail through which the Light of Creation will now flow to fulfill God’s Divine Plan for Humanity, the Elemental Kingdom and Mother Earth. From this moment forth, through the Amazing Grace of God’s Infinite Divine Love, invest me with the Power to magnetize and radiate the Presence of My Divinity and the patterns of perfection for the New Earth through all timeframes and dimensions, with every thought, feeling, word and action I express, no matter where I AM in the Universe.
