Taking care of one self – selfish or sense of self-esteem?

 

I remember years ago a neighbor told me it was selfish to leave my kids alone with my husband during 7 weekends following a study. I was stunned at this idea and told him, if I am doing fine, so will my family. My husband is capable enough to take care of the kids and himself for 2 days. I was confronted with a traditional and in my eyes old fashion male way of looking at things. It shook me up, for no other reason than just the thought I was not meant to improve myself, only if it wouldn’t impose on my spouse.

 

So now in this time of dealing with his departure on the physical plane even though connected through our Heart and Soul, I ask spirit, the angels and in particular him as well to guide me, give me the energy and strength and courage to allow everything to be released. It has been a tough ride the past years and stressful as well. It all is being held not just emotional, yet physical as well, for we are one, body mind and soul, the whole is involved in this process.

 

So taking care of my self is a necessity, not just being selfish because this will allow my body, physical mental and emotional to come back to a balanced point again. And whatever it takes for me to find my balance, or equilibrium again, it is for the highest good of myself. In order to go through the process of grieve,

 

I will have to listen to what I need to do or not do. Which company will benefit my energy and which is draining, specially being the empath I am. It is all about setting boundaries, as well. Even boundaries people might not understand or will have their opinions about it. This is not about you, is a phrase I always hear in my head, when this kind of energy is being expressed.

 

After all, it is about me when it concerns my own reactions to something I read, something others are saying, or being judged. All I can do is asking for assistance and guidance to be released of any attachments, either energy by people or emotional reactions coming from past time experiences. I can only address what comes up on a daily basis.

 

This is keeping me in the Now, and it allows me to go through the different phases that are being brought up. Not knowing which will be triggered, yet when it does, then I can act on it, analyse it, address it and allow it to be there. May it be sorrow, pain, frustration, anger, feelings of loss, it is always something I need to validate and turn my focus on to. This is the only way for me to be able to allow and accept whatever will come up.

 

I am asking on a daily basis for my guidance and am aware of even the smallest signs that might pop up. There is no emptiness in my Heart, no whole to be filled, for his departure to the other side of the veil is still intact and resonating deep within my inner space. His warmth and energy is still there, even for those who are missing him in their life in a physical form, almost touchable.

 

Every time they will share experiences they had in their encounters with him, there he is. So moving forward is the only option. Making sure the inner well keeps on flowing and the water will stay clear in the way source has intended. For love is Life and always bringing change in order to renew and expand again, through all these phases we grow and learn to live our lives to the fullest.

 

That is what this is all about as well. How can I form my Life so my Love will grow and expand and what does it take, what do I need in order to bring out this vibration energy to the highest extension I am possible and fulfill my soul’s expression in this life time. He will be there every step of the way, guiding and teaching, from the place in the Love field and Dimension he now dwells.

 

Being radiant and glowing with the overview as we have changed roles and places, to take it up to the next level. Not just for me, for the both of us, for we are connected to the core of our being. Every change created on earth will have its impact on his soul as well, as it will do in mine. How can we not choose for Love, for that is our birth right and we have to honor that by loving ourselves unconditionally.

 

Asking the angels for guidance I got my own answer presented. It is up to me to honor myself, as I do my beloved, in the same unconditional way. It isn’t selfish to desire a better life. The more that you receive, the more you are able to give to others.

 

The Universe wants me to enjoy my life. Happiness is a holy part of our Divine mission. Whatever we can do to bring joy and peace into our life, we only have to ask for assistance. For asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of strength and courage. All I do know now, I only have to allow any kind of help.

 

For in every encounter there will be a sign, as a present, a gift, to be unwrapped lovingly. The more we can see the gifts we are being presented, we will have abundance, just because we deserve it for it is always meant to be like that.

 

And so it is.
