It’s like I am not present

 

It’s like I am not present,

a kind of not being

and yet still aware.

some internal quietness

that refers to an ongoing process

and the feeling of upcoming events.

Nothing to do – no re-action acquired.

A kind of distant feeling,

or is it detachment.

that rooms through my being.

It’s like the radar of hearing

is shut off,

only to pick up the signals

from within and the sounds

of Nature, birds are singing

and seeking for food or shelter.

It is Mine to give and pay

attention to be the observant

and not interacting with

the turmoil around me.

Hush dear one, hush.

Listen and listen close,

for your time is at hand

and it’s yours for the taking.

Feel, sense, listen and flow

within your awareness

into the deep longing you

have in coming Home.

Sweet surrender, feeling the joy

arise from within, heart overflowing

with a deep sense of belonging.

The journey hasn’t ended,

it has just begun.

 

And so it is, it is done.
