INDIVIDUATION AND ONENESS. One of the conundrums of this time of transcendence and transition on the planet is that there is more talk about being one. Yet at the same time there is an increased call to strengthen the individual essence, signature energy, personality, and ego. Even though some teachers are speaking about getting rid of the ego. Even though some teachers are speaking about getting rid of the ego, the ego has its place. If you think about the concept of oneness like a chain, each link on the chain needs to be strong. Simultaneously there is a sense of the necessity of becoming who it is that you are, and to do so in a more visible, tangible, and unique way than ever.

At the same time there is a breakdown of the illusion of separation and an awareness of unification and unity consciousness. Oneness and individuation go together. It is like an electric plug and an outlet; each configuration fits into the other. You must be strong in your individuality and at the same time have the awareness of being one with all. Being all one does not mean merging with the collective consciousness. It does not mean taking on other people’s belief systems. Within your own being you can see that you may have seemingly contradictory parts within you. Some people are also choosing to play out a completely different paradigm than the paradigm that you are choosing to play out. You do not need to plug into other people’s paradigms.
