HYPNOSIS:- Hypnosis is actually a very common phenomenon that happens to all of you throughout your day. Every time you are feeling like a victim or are on automatic pilot, you are in a state of hypnosis. Every time you let your subconscious mind run you, you are hypnotized. Every time another person’s thoughts or feelings affect you, you are in a subtle state of hypnosis. When you read a book, watch television, or drive your cat, you go into a state of hypnosis. If you are a person who is a victim instead of a master of your life, you are living most of your life in a state of hypnosis . Hypnosis is a form of relaxation. It is suggestibility. It is much like meditation. They are both altered states of consciousness, the difference being, that the intention of hypnosis is to give suggestions to the subconscious mind while the intention is to quiet the mind and ir approach the Spiritual world! But the actual states are not unlike each other. Now, hypnosis occurs when the subconscious mind is running the conscious mind – when you are doing things by habit, daydreaming, fantasizing, or on automatic pilot! Hypnosis is not bad. It’s just widely misunderstood in this society. To the ordinary person, hypnosis as well as self-hypnosis are tainted with negativity caused by a misuse of the tool by stage hypnotist and misinformation spread by the media! It becomes dangerous only when you are not consciously choosing, controlling, or in some way monitoring and directing the process. The hypnotherapist cannot force suggestions into your mind.
