How to mend emotional wounds

How to mend trust after being betrayed,
when you are still feeling fragile?
When it brings up old emotional wounds to the surface
and more importantly, what are you going to do with them?
They can resurface caused by any type of trigger
to bring you out of balance again.
Can you see them as signs to bring more healing
to you inner self or are they going to block your energy
In keeping you away from new healing ways?
They just make it clear what hasn’t been resolved.
Or to make you realize you are not a victim
and have a choice in the matter,
becoming aware it isn’t about the other one.
These are my feelings, and I own them.
I can hold on to them or release,
I have a choice in the matter.
Will I choose for love and freedom?
Or hang on to negative emotions
which make me feel miserable and
getting the train of thoughts back into motion.
No clear head, no love from the Heart,
Or clarity and acceptance and an unconditional Love.
We all take our own paths, we all need experiences
and at times it appears like nothing seems to make any sense.
If you don’t allow this to happen and accept,
It is bringing in denial and the energy gets blocked.
Unconditional it says it all.
If you cannot love the other unconditionally
There always will be triggers that will present you
With old emotional wounds and gets you stuck in old energies
and old patterns in relationships.
It presents the possibility to allow and accept them,
Not just the experiences that were created by them.
And even the ones that will appear
In the future being represented by the essence.
These are the most powerful ones to help you to decide
Of holding unto old emotional wounds will free you.
Being the creator of your life
You always have a choice of free will.
To be the best you can be
And accept everything that comes up
As being unresolved issues within yourself.
Because the most important message in this,
Is to love you unconditionally as well.
It is about healing trust within you,
Enabling you to fully rely on your own intuition
And follow the path your Heart sets out for you.

And so it is.
