God Is My Source

In A Course in Miracles it says:

“Perception is not an attribute of God. His is the realm of knowledge. Yet He has created the Holy Spirit as the Mediator between perception and knowledge.  Without this link with God, perception would have replaced knowledge forever in your mind. With this link with God, perception will become so changed and purified that it will lead to knowledge. That is its function as the Holy Spirit sees it. Therefore, that is its function in truth.

 

“In God you cannot see. Perception has no function in God, and does not exist. Yet in salvation, which is the undoing of what never was, perception has a mighty purpose. Made by the Son of God for an unholy purpose, it must become the means for the restoration of his holiness to his awareness.

 

“Perception has no meaning. Yet does the Holy Spirit give it a meaning very close to God's. Healed perception becomes the means by which the Son of God forgives his brother, and thus forgives himself. You cannot see apart from God because you cannot be apart from God.  Whatever you do you do in Him, because whatever you think, you think with His Mind. If vision is real, and it is real to the extent to which it shares the Holy Spirit's purpose, then you cannot see apart from God”.

 

I believe that this truly defines what the Holy Spirit is and its purpose between the Realms of God and humanity.  The reason that the Holy Spirit can operate within the realms of humanity is because He is the Spark of God within us that indeed holds the Essence of God for as and when we are ready to undo all the perceptions of what and how we have created outside of Eternity and the Truth of Who We Are.

The Soul on the other hand is our Core Consciousness, it is the grounding aspect of our being. It has two components. The personalized soul, that recycles through time on our cosmic journey and it is the place within us that registers all our Karma, memory and desire.  The Soul is the Essence of why we are here, it is the part that is evolving.  Many think that it is the body.  It is not!  The body is just the vehicle that the Soul uses for the experiences for its evolutionary journey.  The body comes and goes and is not eternal. The Soul is eternal!  There are three parts to the Soul, the part that registers the Earth life, a greater part that is the intermediate aspect between the body Soul and the Universal Soul.

Everything we do on Earth is part of the fear and love experience, the mis-creative and the creative expressions and our acts of selfishness or selflessness and of non service or service to others.  The soul is also the conjoining influence in the meaning—where the context of relationships and archetypal energies unfold. The soul is the source of all our lives that we have incarnated upon the planet. It projects as the mind, as the body and the universe of our experiences.  The Soul is the part of our Earth walk that God is interested in, this is the part we are all asked to integrate fully into our body. The Soul is the God Link!

Soul is also between the body and our Higher Self sometimes referred to as our Spirit.  It can mean Holy Spirit but I tend to think that Spirit just refers to our Spirituality, it becomes less confusing then, for me anyway!

Dear Melvin,

The Son of God, yes absolutely so!  But that would be when the sen of man have transcended into the Higher States of Consciousness as Sons of God.  It this level of consciousness Perception has no use for it is unreal, a lie.  while only sons of men use this aspect of themselves it remains unholy.  This is the message here.

The statement in the above address refers to perception.  God has no use for perception so therefore only exists for the use by human beings as part of their evolution.  As God Creates all things He also Created perception as a tool to guide His Children back to Him.  So when it says Made by the Son of God for an unholy purpose, it means in Truth as man uses it, it is really unholy and not of God.  It is an illusion and anything that is not Truth in unholy or a lie in our I Am Presence Journey Home.  

So the statement is correct in the text that it was written.  I did not write what is in the quote, it comes from ACIM channeled by Master Jesus.
