Celebrating our first annual Global Oneness Day - 24 October 2010

A major shift took place 500 years ago when people believed the Earth was flat and at the center of the universe. As we know, Galileo and Bruno announced their startling discoveries based on Copernicus's work...that the Earth was round, not flat, and was on the edge of the universe, not at the center. They paid an enormous price and so did others who were ostracized and far worse; but out of a sense of integrity they shared their truth. Their discoveries became the basis for a new way of life on Earth.

This is not dissimilar to the belief that everything is connected, that "We Are All One," which is unfolding right now, albeit not as fast of many of us would like to see. Ancient and contemporary spiritual figures tell us the one essence, the one presence, is sacred and Divine, is manifested in all of life, and is indeed God, a God that only now is coming into fuller comprehension and understanding. Perhaps like 500 years ago, the world is about to undergo a major shift based on a whole new paradigm. Perhaps we are not separate from each other and the world around us. Perhaps we are all individuations of one whole and holy energy field that we can call God, Source, Supreme Being, Universe or something else.

Our first annual Global Oneness Day, October 24, 2010, is one way to bring this new paradigm to the forefront. Just as the first Earth Day was looked at as a minor, even a "this will never take off" idea, we believe that Global Oneness Day will share the same growth pattern as Earth Day. We will celebrate the first annual Global Oneness Day this October 24th. It may be small in scope in the beginning, but we believe that just as the giant oak tree starts off as nothing more than an acorn, that the acorn has the potential for the greatness of the giant oak, so does potential for a globally recognized day with worldwide participation, rest in this first Global Oneness Day.

Humanity's Team leadership and teammates are instrumental in this process. Ideas on how to celebrate have come to us from around the world, and events are already planned for this first annual Global Oneness Day. Your participation can be as little or as big as you wish it to be. Perhaps this year it is conversation around your dinner table with your family discussing what it feels like to live in a world as One and you can create one thing you can do together on this very day, in this moment, sharing something for example with another person or family. Or you may be able to involve your places of worship, your school, your neighborhood or your extended family in larger events such as picnics and parades. You can even have some fun and create banners or signs that say, "We Are All One". You can invite people to sign our petition declaring our Oneness; we are presently sprinting to 100,000 signatures. And by all means, in Oneness, volunteer to feed the hungry, donate clothing to shelters, read to seniors or find one person who is homeless and engage that person in conversation to see how you might be of assistance, and then act on it. Do one or more of these things in Oneness and feel the gift of what you give because as we know, truly there is only One of us present. What we give we receive. Allow yourself to feel this.

This shift has major implications for how we live on Earth and how we are organized. If we are all part of one thing, and that one thing is sacred and Divine, then a new priority will certainly emerge for our daily living on Earth. And as we celebrate Oneness on this October 24th, we live as examples, and our children, family, friends and neighbors will, at the very least see there is this "other" way to see life and they will feel our connection with each other.

I have a beautiful Oneness Song that I am trying to create a slideshow of photos with the song to post on
U-Tube and here for Oneness Day and just don't know how to technologically speaking. I have a modern P.C. laptop with DVD Maker [microsoft] Windows 7. Can anyone help? I'm in Australia and have Skype if that helps.
