I envision a society where crime no longer has a place and then, when prisons and jails open up, people will join together in freedom. I see a world where violence is forgotten and criminal justice is in the past. We will forgive and be gracious.

We have examples of communities that deal with crime in different ways than we do by imprisoning offenders. Africa gives us examples of forgiveness and love that transforms the offenders.

As society transforms there will be fewer people who are so desperate that they turn to crime. For those who do there will be programs for them that truly transforms their lives.

This has been my vision for a long time.
