A Vision for Colombia

We recently received the following letter from Camilo Herrera in Colombia, SA., and it is so poignant, so heartfelt, that we added it to our Visions. As you may note, Camilo paraphrased the text from a previous Vision we sent you. We are, indeed, honored by what Camilo has done, and we would suggest that if you live in a country that is filled with strife and unrest, that you, too, paraphrase these words and apply them to your homeland as well. Thank You, Camilo! May the act of sharing your Vision with the world bring about the peace you seek now.

Dear Friends, I live in Colombia South America, where we have had an internal, violent conflict between the military forces of the country and the narco-terrorist guerrillas for about 60 years now. Colombia is the only country that currently has an internal, violent conflict in the region. The guerrillas kidnap and kill inocent people continuously, set up land mines on rural and semi-rural areas, killing and disabling thousands of innocent children and women daily (Colombia is nowadays the country with the most personal land mines in the world). The guerrillas have intended to overthrow the democraticly elected goverment for years and it is time to put and end to all of that. So I respectfully request to you to post the following vision.

We see peace in Colombia, South America; we see a country free of personal land mines; we see peace in every household, in every heart, and in every mind in the entire Colombian territory. We envision every child happy, laughing, playing in complete and utter safety and joy, living with the promise of experiencing their entire life long, to the fullest, and fulfilled because they have achieved whatever their dreams may be. We see a people living in harmony and helping each other in every way. We see all of the Colombian territory, gleaning the wisdom that when we care for each other and intend only the Highest Good for our fellow men and women, everything gets better. And we see the people of Colombia involved in the conflict having risen up and out of their old ways into the light of a new day where they, both individually and collectively, are a shining example for the rest of the world of how good life is when we truly learn to love and honor one another.

For the Highest Good of the people of Colombia and all peoples everywhere.
So Be it and So it is!
