"Ginger Root for a relaxing Bath  by Regi"

------------
"A lot of times when we have a great deal of stress or negativity going on around us we need to step back shake the heavy energy off... A good ginger bath has been known to help soothe you back into balance.

Cut a piece (about the size of your hand) of fresh ginger root. Put into a pot, cover with about 5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, put on a lid and let cook for about 20 minutes. In the meantime prepare your bath. Draw hot water, light some candles, put on some nice music, whatever you can think of to make you comfortable.
Then add the ginger (everything that is in your pot, the root and the decoction), to your bathing water. While you soak you can take some ginger root and carefully rub the spots on your body which feel to you like they are holding tension or negative energy. The ginger may clean these by pulling out toxins and negative energies. If you do not have a bathtub, try this as a foot bath. Put hot water into a bowl big enough to put your feet in. The water should be as hot as possible, but not burn you. Then add the decoction with the ginger root pieces. When the temperature is right, bath your feet for at least ten minutes. Rub them with the ginger pieces. Then dry them and keep warm, and rest. Foot bathes are very effective, and can be exhausting, so make sure to rest afterwards."

Wonderful!! I love ginger. For healing nausea. I don't remember the other uses of the tea, right now. But it's one of my favorite remedies.
I LOVE it, too :-)

I'll take a bath now - I'm very much looking forward to it - LOL!

Similar to Cayenne pepper, Ginger reduces the pain of arthritis. It also reduces the pain and swelling caused by rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. The healing powers of ginger helps prevent the nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness and pregnancy, enhances digestion and circulation, and eases intestinal gas. There have been two clinical studies to prove that ginger has the healing powers to prevent and treat various illnesses. The research shows that ginger relieved pain and or swelling in seventy five percent of arthritis patients. This research proves that ginger has a healing power to help those with arthritis and other illnesses and sicknesses.

In order to reap the full benefits of ginger, you need to follow the recommended dosage. Take one to two capsules with meals two to three times a day or you can add ten to thirty drops of the tincture to one ounce of water and drink three to four times a day. If taking with tea, mix one-fourth to one-half teaspoon of powdered ginger or you can use a ginger tea bag, with eight ounces of boiling water. Steep and cover for ten to fifteen minutes. Drink four ounces up to three times daily. Make sure you drink the recommended amount of water or tea with the spices. And when taking spices with fluid make sure it’s either water or tea, which will provide the best results.

A serious side effect of taking ginger is blood thinning. Ginger can have a blood thinning effect, so check with your doctor before using it, especially if you take an anticoagulant, such as warfarin or any other blood thinning medication. Like cayenne pepper, ginger may cause some people to experience an upset stomach when taken in larger doses than prescribed. Just like anything, consult with your doctor if you have serious diseases or illnesses, such as, diabetes or high blood pressure or if you are taking medication for your arthritis. And always take the recommended dosage. Taking too much causes other problems and taking too little may not provide the healing powers associated with ginger.
The healing powers of ginger can do wonders for those suffering from the pain of arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Each person is different so the results of the healing power of ginger can vary depending on the person.

GIVING PAUSE TO NAUSEA

Ginger possesses an anti-nausea effect, that is probably unrivaled in the plant kingdom. Of all its properties, this has been ginger's ticket to mainstream recognition. Ginger's benefits in this area are wide ranging: It has been found to ward off nausea associated with motion sickness, chemotheraphy, gyncological surgery and pregnancy.

The best-known study on ginger and motion sickness was published in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet. For this study, subjects susceptible to motion sickness were placed in rotating chairs. The researchers found that taking 940 milligrams (mg.) of powdered ginger 20 to 25 minutes before the experiment countered nausea more effectively than taking 100 mg. of Dramamine, a popular over-the-counter motion-sickness drug.
Ginger's ability to help relieve the nausea associated with chemotherapy has been the subject of three studies over the past nine years, all with positive findings. The most notable was a double-blind study conducted at the University of Alabama in which 2 0 leukemia patients undergoing chemotherapy found that adding ginger to their regular dose of the antinausea drug Compazine reduced their symptoms more effectively than the drug alone.

Like chemotherapy, recovery from surgery also can cause nausea. In a British study, 60 women recovering from a variety of gynecological surgeries--including laparoscopy and hysterectomy--found that 1 gram (g.) of powdered ginger alone provided as much relief as the anti-nausea drug metoclopramide, which has such potentially serious side effects as depression and involuntary muscle contractions.

Ginger also can assuage morning sickness. In a Danish study, 70 percent of women reported that when they took 250 mg. of ginger capsules four times a day, they felt significantly less nauseated than when they took a placebo. If you're pregnant, you should be aware that because ginger historically has been used to stimulate menstruation, there is some concern in scientific circles that it has the potential to cause miscarriage. However, the amount of powdered herb that would be used to stimulate menstruation is much greater than that used to ease nausea--5 g. or more, compared to 1 g. or so. Furthermore, there never has been a recorded incident of ginger causing miscarriage. While it's best to be cautious, I feel very comfortable recommending a limited amount of ginger during pregnancy.

"About the Use of the Violet Flame"

Excerpt:

I have to tell you that when you as a conscious disciple manage the Violet Flame, a parallel activity of the Violet Flame is initiated internally. This results in the vibrational awakening of your chakras. Therefore, each time when you use the gift of the Violet Flame you are asked not only to focalize your attention on what you want to transmute but also on the internal activity which takes place within yourself.

One of the consequences of the continual use of the Violet Flame is the accelerated awakening of all your chakras, you will, step by step, wake up in a different world from where you live now.
