Healing and Cleansing Your Environment with Reiki

Sometimes we get focused on doing Reiki only with people or
animals.  Remember that the buildings that we call our homes and
the buildings that we call our workplaces are made up of energy
from the materials that the building is made from.  These
buildings also tend to hold onto the energy of the people who spend
time in them as well.

As a counselor and Reiki practitioner I tend to hear and see the
depth of my client's physical and emotional pain.  The energy of
that pain radiates beyond our skin and vibrates out around us.
This vibration effects the room and eventually the building where
all that emotion is felt.

Recently I have been noticing the accumulation in my office.  To me
it feels like the air is thicker in my room than it is out in the
hallway.  The rest of the building feels lighter, as if I can
literally breathe easier in the rest of the building than I can in
my own office.  This is my first clue that a cleansing is in order.
My second clue happened when a very dear and very psychic friend
sat down in one of my office chairs and declare that he just sat
down in the "chair of pain."  He could immediately tell that a
cleansing was due!

To heal and cleanse buildings and rooms I do the following:

1.  I usually light a smudge stick.  (Native Americans smudged
because the smoke of sage has a calming vibration).
Remember---Everything is Vibration.
2.  I begin at the outside door of the building itself and draw the
Sei He Ki with the smoking smudge stick.  This symbol is the
cleanser and moves the energy from lower to higher or from negative
to the positive.
3.  I then go into the building and draw the symbol over the door
from inside the building. 
4.  I draw the symbol 4 times in EVERY ROOM for the 4 directions
AND EVEN IN SOME OF THE CORNERS OF SOME OF THE ROOMS.
5.  I do this over and under my massage table and my chairs too.
6.  When done with this I go back over every door and room drawing
the Cho Ku Rei with the smoldering smudge stick 4 times in each
room.  This symbol powers up the positive energy after the
cleansing has taken place.   

Then the following ALWAYS happens.
 
Watch and listen to people coming into the newly cleansed space.
Even if they have been in that space before, they will make
comments about how good it feels to be there or they will ask if
you have changed or rearranged the office lately or some type of
positive comment. 

You will be reminded and know once again that Reiki is real.

I am new to your website and love reading the posts and information, but did not think I would get involved in groups as I work full time and have a Reiki practice as well. I would love to have a Reiki support group! I am a Usui and Karuna Reiki master. Karuna has techniques more specific for cleansing. Please keep me posted on having a Reiki support group!
