Nine Underworlds of the Cosmos and The Thirteen Tones of Evolution

The Nine Underworlds of the Cosmos According to ancient Mayan beliefs the Cosmos was made up by Nine Underworlds. This fundamental idea was expressed very powerfully through their most important pyramids, the Pyramid of the Plumed Serpent in Chichen-Itza, the Pyramid of the Jaguar in Tikal and the Temple of the Inscriptions in Palenque, which were all built with Nine different stories. At the present time we are beginning to enter the eighth level of consciousness of the cosmic pyramid, based on the foundation provided by the seven lower levels. This eighth level may be referred to as the galactic frame of conscious-ness as it will step by step lead humanity to identify primarily with the galaxy. The highest level of consciousness, the Universal, will be attained through the workings of the Ninth Underworld in the year 2011 and will result in a timeless cosmic consciousness, and a citizen-ship in the universe, on the part of humanity. Continue >> The Thirteen Heavens as a Creative Progression The levels of consciousness developed by each Underworld are developed according to a common pattern. The Maya used to describe this by the notion that a special deity or divine force ruled each of the Thirteen Heavens of the various Underworlds and from the Aztecs we have information about what these deities were: The incoming energy of the Fifth day (November 24, 2006) will be much stronger than anything we have previously experienced in the Galactic Underworld. The Fifth day is the breakthrough energy that previously, in another Underworld (level of consciousness evolution) brought Christianity, and at yet another Underworld the modern world, into existence. Continue >> The Thirteen Tones of Evolution The levels of consciousness developed by each Underworld are developed according to a common pattern. The Maya used to describe this by the notion that a special deity or divine force ruled each of the Thirteen Heavens of the various Underworlds and from the Aztecs we have information about what these deities were: General scheme of the divine forces ruling the Thirteen Heavens or the Seven days and Six nights of divine creation The interesting thing about these thirteen deities ruling the thirteen heavens is that if we look at every other deity, the seven with odd-numbers above, we find that they are forces that nurture the development of a seed. Thus, a seed that is planted during the rule of the god of procreation (First Heaven) receives some light through the god of sunrise (Third Heaven) and water by the gods of watering and rain (Fifth and Seventh Heavens) and some further light by the god of fire (Ninth Heaven) until it turns into a flower (Eleventh Heaven) and finally matures as a fruit under the rule of the Thirteenth Heaven. The History of the Telecommunications How this divine process of creation plays out in reality may be illustrated by examples from any of the Nine Underworlds, but a clear and currently relevant example is that of the development of the telecommunications which have been developed by the Thirteen Heavens of the Planetary Underworld. The Thirteen Heavens are upheld by the sequence of thirteen katuns that started in 1755 and develop a planetary frame of consciousness. If we focus here only on the seven pulses from seed to mature fruit the history of the telecommunications looks like this: Katun Day Duration Initiatory event Historical dating 1. The dual Creator god 7 1992-2011 Internet (1992) The Development of the Telecommunications Above we may see that the planetary consciousness carried by the creation cycle of thirteen katuns, starting in 1755, pulse by pulse has stimulated the human beings in resonance with it to develop more and more advanced telecommunications. This creation cycle started with a mere seed - as the first ideas of making a telegraph were conceived - as the god of procreation ruled in the mid-18th century. Through the influence of the different energies of the different Heavens this seed has then developed into the mature fruit of the World Wide Web of the Internet in the beginning of the Thirteenth Heaven (as the god of highest manifestation, the dual Creator god, ruled). As an aside, the reader may note that the period 1932-1952 (Great Depression, Hitlerism, Stalinism, World War II and the Atomic and Hydrogen Bombs) which totally destroyed the previous world of national borders, was ruled by the Lord of darkness, Tezcatlipoca. Since the strongest creative pulses, displaying the most important steps forward in consciousness, appear during the Seven odd-numbered Heavens we may safely assume that this is what has given rise to the holiness of the number Seven. These Seven steps of creation described by the Mayan calendar (in any of the Underworlds, not just the Planetary) are identical with the Seven DAYS of divine creation (interspersed by six NIGHTS) described in the Book of Genesis and reiterated in the Book of Revelation. This is what unifies the science of the Maya with the religious traditions of the Old World: the Thirteen Heavens of the Maya are identical with the Seven DAYS and six NIGHTS of God's creation in the Jewish, Christian and Moslem traditions. It is also what unifies the calendrical system of the Maya with modern science as the changing energies of the different time cycles may be linked to specific, tangible manifestations, here exemplified by the evolutionary progression of different means of telecommunications. All phenomena that undergo evolution are subject to the same basic pattern from seed to mature fruit effected by the Seven days and Six nights. It is important to realize that the durations of the Thirteen Heavens, or the Seven DAYS and Six NIGHTS of creation vary depending on what Underworld they are operating in. In the Sixth Underworld developing the national frame of consciousness the Thirteen Heavens develop religions, writing, monarchy, technology etc, according to a baktun based rhythm of about 400 years, whereas in the Seventh Underworld they develop telecommunications, science, art, atheism, banking etc. according to a katun-based rhythm of about 20 years. The galaxies of the universe develop according to the same basic pattern, Seven DAYS and Six NIGHTS, but with a much longer hablatun-pattern. The fact that all evolutionary processes in the Cosmos adhere to the same basic patterns of Thirteen Heavens, Seven DAYS and Six NIGHTS, creates overtones of a much higher frequency with the same pattern. Thus the thirteen-day cycle or the thirteen uinals of the tzolkin are subjects to the same basic pattern. These considerably shorter creation cycles are like ripples on the surface of the long processes of creation of the Major Underworlds, that we have only seen a few examples of here. The most important example of the Seven DAYS and Six NIGHTS of creation is however the 13-tun Galactic creation cycle that is currently serving to expand the frame of human consciousness from a planetary to a galactic during the period January 5, 1999 to October 28, 2011 in the Gregorian calendar. The Development of the Historical Religions of Humanity At the most profound level the evolution of the historical religions of humanity has been propelled by the various energies that have been dominating the Thirteen Heavens, the thirteen baktuns, of the Long Count. This is very clearly seen if we study the evolution of the Caldean-Jewish-Christian tradition from its early origin in the worship of the creator god Anu in Sumeria to the establishment of Protestant Christianity in 17th century Europe and North America. Also the other historical religions of humanity are profoundly conditioned by the inspiration given by the Seven DAYS of divine creation, but for simplicity a discussion of these have been omitted here. As a result of the influence of the Thirteen Heavens the Judean-Christian line of religiosity has manifested in at least three clear evolutionary trends: From polytheism to monotheism. Early (baktun 0, god of fire and time) in the Long Count cycle, developing the national frame of consciousness, the belief in a highest creator god was not a monotheist creed. Among the Sumerians, Anu, who was regarded as the supreme creator god of Heaven, was for instance not the only god worshipped in this cradle of civilization. The Sumerians worshipped a high number of nature gods, house gods, harvest gods, etc. etc. and a consequent monotheist creed only emerged with Moses in baktun 4 (goddess of Love and Childbirth). Through the action of the later pulses of divine light provided by the even-numbered baktuns of the National Cycle, polytheism vanishes from this line of religiosity (and incidentally from most other religious traditions as well). From a local to a universal view of God. Early in the cycle (baktun 0, god of Fire and Time) each country, or even each town or village, had its own god or gods believed to protect only the particular region in question. Although with Moses (baktun 4) a true monotheist creed first emerges this still retained an exclusive character for the Jewish people. It is thus only with the Great Jewish Prophets, and the prophet Isaiah in particular, at the very beginning of baktun 6 (god of Flowers) that the notion is presented that the One God is common to all of humanity. A step is then taken in the direction of worshipping a universal God, common to all of humanity. A further step in this direction is taken at the very beginning of baktun 8 (Quetzalcoatl, Lord of the Light) with the emergence of Christianity, which becomes a proselytizing religion seeking to embrace all of humanity, and at the beginning of baktun 10 (goddess of Birth) the Papacy emerges as a power standing above particular national interests in Europe. From an immanent to a transcendental view of God. Early in the cycle physical objects were seen as animated by various gods, and even later, as the monotheist views came to be dominating, God was often seen as intervening in creation in a more physical form and physical objects were still worshipped. In this we may also find the background to the difference between the Catholic religiosity which had its peak during baktun 10 (goddess of Birth) and the Protestant religiosity which was finally established and began to be spread to North America at the beginning of baktun 12 (dual Creator god). In the Catholic faith relics from saints are still worshipped and in the Holy Communion it is believed that the wine is truly the blood of Jesus. Physical objects were thus worshipped as manifestations of an immanent God, whereas the emphasis of the Protestants was much less on worshipping objects (The Calvinians for instance have only very sparsely decorated churches) but rather on directly relating to God in the beyond (transcendental aspect). The History of Writing Developments of means of communication typically very clearly adhere to the Seven DAYS of creation in any of the Underworlds. This is true not only for the development of writing during the National Cycle, but also of the telecommunications during the Planetary Cycle and will be true for the IT revolution during the Galactic Cycle as well. This is because the development of the means of communication is very directly linked to the evolution of consciousness, and to consciousness of time in particular. To the Maya writing was considered as a gift of the gods, and indeed, we may see in the table below that the Seven pulses of divine creation have inspired humanity to implement more effective means of written communication. The dual Creator god 7 1617-2011 Daily Newspapers, Mail service (1618) (1624) The Development of Writing Why then is writing linked to the evolution of consciousness in such a way that it clearly follows the evolutionary progression from seed to mature fruit? This may be understood in the following way: Writing to a large extent has been developed in response to a need to "preserve" information through time. To preserve information is by no means to be taken as a given and ice age people, living before the onset of the National Cycle shown in the Table above, saw no need to do so, the reason being that evolutionary change in their societies was so slow that preservation seemed irrelevant. With the beginning of the baktun-based National Cycle, change in human society however began to take place at such a high frequency that "preservation" became a necessity in many contexts. Thus writing is ultimately a function of the higher frequency of consciousness change carried by the National Cycle.
