and the Lemurian Solar Disc

Peru is a land steeped in ancient prophecies and wisdom that is vital for our planet during these transitional times. Life in the Incan empire was measured by a thousand year cosmic cycle called an Inti, which means 'Sun'. This thousand year cycle was then divided into halves, each of which was referred to as a Pachakuti.

The cosmovision of the Andean world is the conception of duality that is in permanent opposition, but complementary, like the principle of ying/yang that expresses this opposition between day/night, light/dark, man/woman, earth/sky, up/down. This same principle of duality applies to each Pachakuti. However, Pachakuti also is used to refer to the transitional time that divided each Pachakuti and this is characterized as a time of great changes.

 

 

During the five hundred years of the eighth Pachakuti, Pachacuteq, the greatest spiritual leader of the Incas and the builder of Macha Picchu ruled. This was a time of light when the Inca Empire flourished and there was expansion and good fortune.

The ninth Pachakuti, on the opposite side of the duality, brought with it the five hundred years of darkness when the Spanish invaders conquered the Inca and the Indian people lost their power.

We are now entering the tenth Pachakuti, which the local people refer to as the returning of Pachkuteq, the returning of the Light. This is the time when the etheric crystal cities of the fourth dimension such as the lost golden city of Paititi and the eternal etheric city under lake Titikaka will again be available to us.

There is a legend that says at the time Lemuria was sinking, one of the seven Great Masters of Lemuria, Lord Aramu Meru, was given the mission to bring the sacred Golden Solar Disc from the Temple of Illumination to Lake Titikaka for safe keeping. During the time of the Incas, the Solar Disc was transferred to Cusco, and placed in the Koricancha, the main temple of the Incas, where it stayed until the coming of the Spanish. At that time, it was returned to Lake Titikaka and placed in the Eternal Etheric City inside the Lake.

In the legend of their origin, this is the place from where the first Incas, Manco Kapaq and Mama Ocalla, entered the Earth. The Solar Disc was used in the capacity of a cosmic computer that received light information directly from the Universal Mind Source, Viracocha, at the center of the galaxy. By entering the Temple of Illumination and opening themselves, the Lemurians and later the Incas could access the sacred wisdom.

It is during this time, the Age of Pachakuti, that the sacred Solar Disc is to be re-activated accessing the cosmic wisdom.

Many of the world's spiritual leaders, as well as indigenous teachers, acknowledge that the energy of the planet shifted in 1987 from the masculine energies of Tibet to the feminine energies of Peru, and more particular, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

This area is the acknowledged portal through which the new feminine energies are entering the Earth. It is power energy - energy of the Heart. We not only have an opportunity during this time to access the information from the sacred Golden Disc and to receive the cosmic energies of Love that are coming in, but many Planetary Light Workers are feeling called to participate in re-activating the golden Solar Disc.

The Solar Disc serves as the portal through which these new feminine energies radiate into the world. When we use our intention to re-active the Solar Disc, we facilitate these energies coming in stronger, powerful work for Planetary Midwives.

Ancient Temple Ruins
Found Under Lake Titicaca

LA PAZ, Bolivia (Reuters Aug. 2000) - The remains of what is thought to be a 1,000- to 1,500-year-old temple have been found below the waters of South America's lake Titicaca, a scientific expedition said Tuesday.

"We've found what appears to have been a 200-metre (660 feet) long, 50-metre (160 feet) wide holy temple, a terrace for crops, a pre-Incan road and an 800-metre (2,600 feet) long containing wall," said Lorenzo Apis, the Italian scientist leading the expedition in a region of the lake around 90 miles (150 km) northeast of the Bolivian capital La Paz.

The expedition "Atahuallpa 2000," backed by the international scientific group Akakor Geographical Exploring, made over 200 dives into water 65 to 100 feet (20-30 metres) deep to record the remains on film and with photographs. The expedition will publish complete findings of its 18-day study in November and plans to eventually raise archeologicalremains to the surface.

The ruins were found in an area of the lake between the town of Copacabana and the popular tourist destinations of the Island of the Sun and Island of the Moon. The research involved 10 scientists from Italy, 10 from Brazil, five Bolivians, two Germans and a Romanian. Lake Titicaca, some 12,464 feet (3,800 metres) above sea level, lies on the border between Bolivia and Peru, and is the highest navigable lake in the world. The Tihuanacu culture lived on its shores before they became part of the Incan empire with its base in Cusco, Peru.

"All this means our civilizations have left more footprints than we had thought," said Antonio Eguino, Bolivia's vice minister of culture, whose government pledged financial and technical support to preserve and protect the ruins.

Lake Titicaca, the cradle of Incan civilization, and the origin of the Inca Empire is the highest lake navigable in the world, at 12,506 ft (3,812 m) above sea level. It covers some 3,200 sq mi (8,300 sq km) and is 120 mi (190 km) long by 50 mi (80 km) wide. A narrow strait joins the lake's two bodies of water, which have 41 islands, some densely populated (Uros, Taquile, Amantaní, Isla Del Sol). The remains of one of the oldest known American civilizations have been found in the area. Temple ruins on Titicaca Island mark the spot where, according to legend, the founders of the Inca were sent down to earth by the sun.

Located in the Altiplano, a high basin of the Andes Mountains, and on the border between Peru and Bolivia, Titicaca has an average depth of between 107 m, and a maximum depth of 281 m. It contains the great early archaeological site of Tiahuanaco, actually in Bolivia.

According to Garcilaso de la Vega, in Inca mythology, Manco Capac and Mama 0cllo, children of the Sun, emerged from the depths of Lake Titicaca to found Cuzco and the Inca empire. Manco Capac was a culture hero rather than a conqueror, and he and Mama Ocllo taught the people industries and arts and gathered then to found Cuzco.

Manco Capac ruled the Inca empire, Cuzco for about forty years, established a code of laws, and is thought to have abolished human sacrifice. The code of laws forbade marrying one's sister, but these laws did not apply to Inca nobility so he married his sister, Mama Ocllo. With her, Manco had a son named Roca who became the next Sapa Inca. Manco Capac is thought to have reigned until about 1230, though some put his death in 1107. Manco ruled before the title of Sapa Inca was invented, so in fact his title is Capac, which roughly translates as warlord.

According to legend, the first Inca Manco Capac (the Sun God) and his sister-queen Mama Ocllo (the Moon Goddess) rose from the waters of Lake Titicaca near the Islands of the Sun and Moon. [1.16] They proclaimed that they had been sent to earth by the Sun, carrying with them a divine mandate to civilise the world and spread the religion of the creator god Viracocha and the Sun god Inti. [1.17]

The Incas began their sacred ministry after Manco Capac buried a gold chain and staff on the Island of the Sun. [1.18] Upon his death, he turned to stone in the place where the Incas later built their temple of the sun. [1.19]

When Manco was born, there was light and trumpets sounded, and the god Pachacamac declared that 'the beautiful day of Manco Capac had dawned. [1.8] Manco himself wandered many days until he came to a place that had a sacred cave. [1.9] The cave was artificially hewed out and was adorned with gold and silver. [1.10]

Manco left the sacred cave and went to a window called Capac Toco, meaning 'Royal Window'. [1.11]

As he [Viracocha] came out, Manco was dressed in the golden garments he had obtained in the cave; and by putting on those garments, he was invested with the kingship of Peru. [1.12] One of the brothers, Pirua Manco, had a sister who bore him a son, Manco Capac. [1.13]

Subsequently, Manco established a line of sixty-two kings who ruled at Cuzco 16 semi-divine rulers (sons of the Sun God of which Manco was the first), and 46 priest kings. [1.14]

Some vague traditions point to Tiahuanuco as the spot whence Manco Capac, the founder of the Inca dynasty, took his origin, and whence he started northwards to teach the rude tribes of the Sierra religion and government; and some late writers, D'Orbigny and Castelnau among them, find reasons for believing that the whole Inca civilization originated here, or was only a reflex of that which found here a development, never afterwards equaled, long before the golden staff of the first Inca sunk into the earth where Cuzco was founded, thus fixing through superhuman design the site of the imperial city.
