We take the needed time to create a sacred space and spiritually align our energies. When this is achieved, as part of the united group channel through which the spiritual forces can become available, we mentally link up with people of Goodwill everywhere. We affirm this channel, "We stand poised united as one soul with our Spiritual Hierarchy," and hold the focus.

This alignment we make with the Spiritual Hierarchy creates a unity between humans in physical form and the Great Ones in Spirit. The Light of the Soul is sensed and embodied.

Thus united, we experience the space of Oneness. As the gateway ahead opens, the Light of Leo, the Light of the now-One Soul, pours into and through us.

We know that in Light, we shall see the Light. We turn our collective mind's eye to the star Regulus, the Heart of the Lion, in search of the Light within Light.

It is there, before us! At first a tiny point, it becomes larger and brighter. We see the blue-white Light of Sirius sparkling like a diamond.

And now with us is the great steam of energy emanating from the star Sirius. Once again we sense this distant source of energy as a major influence on our world, producing profound effects on the individual as well as the whole of Humanity.

We know Sirius to be the brilliant star of Initiation, and responding to the influx of its light, our monadic energy increases.

We sense the Sirian energy having a cycle, a rhythm, or a pulse. This rhythmic pulse continues, gradually expanding our mind, our consciousness. The cycles of Sirius take us to new planes and dimensions, as our Cosmic path is revealed and opens for us.

Through the stars, Cosmic beings are communicating with us. They are members of the great Spiritual Hierarchy, of which we are a part. We can see, our relationship to these embodied Cosmic lives is as real as our relationship to our fellow beings in the world.

Those great beings are bringing the qualities of Unity, Compassion, Freedom, and Cooperation to our Life and planet Earth. We now affirm our service as a channel for these Cosmic Lives as they guide us ever closer to our Divine Destiny.

Leo - Sirius Connection / Sirius ~ Leo Festival July 25-26 2010

August, which is ruled by Leo, is the month of the Dog-star, or of Sirius, which thus brings Sirius into close relation to Leo. Leo, in the cosmic sense (and apart from our solar system altogether) is ruled by Sirius. Sirius is the home of that greater Lodge to which our fifth initiation admits a man and to which it brings him, as a humble disciple. Later, when the new world religion is founded and is working, we shall find that the major, monthly festival in August, held at the time of the full moon, will be dedicated to the task of making contact, via the Hierarchy, with Sirian force.

The Dog Star, Sirius is also known as our Spiritual Sun, esoterically the heart of our physical Sun. During the Dog Days when Sirius disappears into the Sun's glowing light, it could be said that our physical Sun is embracing our Spiritual Sun! After such a celestial union a rebirth or resurrection can be expected.

This is the period of time Sirius disappears from the sky — sequenced in the myth when Isis is hiding until the birth of her son, Horus — eventually the star reappears after Horus is born — resurrection. It is time!

Sirius was astronomically the foundation of their [Egypt's] entire religious system. It was the embodiment of Isis, sister and consort of the god Osiris, who appeared in the sky as Orion.

In celebration of our evolutionary link to Sirius and in preparation for becoming the Shining Ones on Earth, I offer this excerpt from the Invocation of Osiris:.

When will Sirius reappear?
Heliacal Rising

The conjunction of Sirius and the Sun does not occur at the same time in all latitudes, and is not constant in the same region for a long period, hence the variation in calendars regarding the limits of the Dog Days. Some say the period of the dog days lasts 20 days before and after the conjunction of Sirius and the Sun.

In 2010 in the Pacific Time Zone, Sirius rises before the Sun on the last day of July, but remains hidden in its glare. When Sirius rises above the eastern horizon at an altitude of 7 degrees it can be seen. This heliacal rising of Sirius occurs August 7, 2010 in San Francisco.

... the heliacal rising: the first visible, though brief, appearance of a star on the eastern horizon before sunrise. On the previous morning, sunlight made the star invisible. When the rising of a star is spoken of, it is usually the heliacal rising that is meant. In ancient Egypt, the helical rising of Sirius coincided with the annual rising of the Nile at Memphis. The heliacal setting of Sirius (last visible setting of Sirius) in San Francisco occurred May 23, 2010 hence, Sirius is hidden from view for 75 days in San Francisco during 2010.

On the first day of Sirius' reappearance the ancient Egyptians expected an abundant harvest, if the star appeared bright and clear. If Sirius appeared dull and red, a poor harvest would result.
