It is said that the Mithraic tradition was born out of the teachings of Zoroaster. Zoroaster is thought by many to be an incarnation of Sananda Jesus. Mithras was a Sun Deity who many believe was an Avatar of Apollo. Apollo the Sun Deity in the Greek tradition was seen in the Hindu tradition as an Avatar of Lord Krishna. Krishna is the 8th incarnation of the God Vishnu. Zoroastrianism is a tradition with roots in Persian and Indian cultures. It combines cosmology with monotheism. Zoroastrianism was a bridge from multiple gods such as that of  Egypt or India to belief in a One-God of Akhenaton or Judeo-Christian beliefs.

Mithras himself is often pictured with the head of a lion and two pairs of wings”

Zoroaster was said to be the son of a Galactic Ahura Mazda. From Ellie Crystal:

Zoroaster's teachings, as noted above, centered on Ahura Mazda, who is the highest god and alone is worthy of worship. He is, according to the Gathas, the creator of heaven and earth; i.e., of the material and the spiritual world. He is the source of the alternation of light and darkness, the sovereign lawgiver, and the very center of nature, as well as the originator of the moral order and judge of the entire world. The kind of polytheism found in the Indian Vedas (Hindu scriptures having the same religious background as the Gathas) is totally absent; the Gathas, for example, mention no female deity sharing Ahura Mazda's rule....

Mithra is an Indo-Iranian sun god. In Hinduism he is praised as the binomial Mitra-Varuna. A hymn is also dedicated to him alone in Rig Veda. He is the Lord of Heavenly light, protector of truth, and is invoked when a contract or oath is taken.”

The Dalai Lama has said the only way we can expect world peace is when we strive for a plurality of faiths. When we respect each others’ religious beliefs we achieve peace. When we study various Galactic connections it becomes apparent very quickly that we are all One. Zoroaster indeed was laying the ground work with the Goodly Company to return to Earth later as the Avatar form of Sananda known as Jesus the Christ.
