I have been in love with the marine mammals for most of my life, especially the dolphins and whales. I dived on the Barrier Reef for a good part of 20 years, and saw lots of manta-rays as well as a million varieties of gorgeous fish. I only stopped diving because I had a burst ear drum and infections. I really felt I belonged underwater and could communicate with them. My old home was Byron Bay on the east coast of Australia, and I am going back there in May. The ocean is SO important to this earth, and I think it gets overlooked by business people who are involved in industry, shipping, air craft - and of course damage from oil spills is very distressing. The whales beach themselves because they can't hear the whale song over the sound of our ocean vessels! Our oceans need our light support, now more than ever! Please join in everyone. Zyra.
