Native americans have been given prophecy since the beginning...straight from the masters themselves. Let's look into our connections with them.

Wolf Meaning and Totem Symbolism of the Wolf

To understand totem wolf symbols, one must first understand the heart of the Wolf. This takes time because the Wolf has had to endure many false stereotypes, misconceptions and misunderstandings.

Not at all the picture of ferocity or terror, the Wolf is a creature with a high sense of loyalty and strength. Another misconception is that of the “lone wolf.” To the contrary, the Wolf is actually a social creature, friendly, and gregarious with its counterparts.

The Wolf is an incredible communicator. By using touch, body movements, eye contact as well as many complex vocal expressions – the wolf makes his point understood. Those with totem wolf symbols are of the same inclination – they are expressive both vocally and physically. Those who have the wolf as their totem animal are naturally eloquent in speech, and also have knack for creative writing.

A quick-list of totem wolf symbolic attributes include:

    • Intelligence
    • Cunning
    • Communication
    • Friendliness
    • Loyalty
    • Generosity
    • Compassionate

Totem wolf symbols belong to those who truly understand the depth of passion that belong to this noble creature. The Wolf is a representative of deep faith, and profound understanding.

Further, the Wolf possess a high intellect, and have been observed using strategies about hunting, habitat and migration.

In history, the totem Wolf symbol appears with the founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus. Legend has it that the two founding brothers were raised and suckled by a she-wolf.

In Norse mythology, the Wolf is a symbol for victory when ridden by Odin and the Valkyries upon the battlefield.

    Dear ALL,

I just read the story of the song the lady sang for the wolves with her grandson. It made me cry, I felt so sad. Such a simple thing as a song showed so much history and spirit. I also cried because her grandson is ditsracted by modern life and wanted to watch his tv. I see so many children lost to modern life and that have knowledge of nature. I take my freinds children on nature walks and we look for beautiful things in the hedge rows. I will teach them the wolf song and pass on the spirit of the wolves. A few weeks ago I was sat at my desk writing, my desk is in front of a large window that looks over my garden.I was aware that I was being looked at , and there was a very large Fox staring close up at me through the glass and looking straight into my soul. I felt he was a wolf spirit as he was bigger than any fox I have ever seen before. Because I understand the world diferently now, it is sometimes very painful to accept that I am a human and humans harm the animals. This has been an important lesson for me,

    Thank You

Love from Sarah and her dolphins xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Reading your comment on the wolf song and the fox you have seen has sent shivers over my body ... yes, we have taken on a human body but we are SPIRIT! And the animals KNOW this - they can feel it ... and they behave differently ;-)

Thank you for your sharing Sarah, and thank you, Param Gian, for your loving reply - NATURE teaches us all we really need to know if we are only open to receive her teachings :-)

My Very Precious Angel Sister, Param-Gian,

Well said, Dear One, Beautiful Expression of Compassion & Empathy for Our Beloved Mother Earth's current state ~ the blind humans that know not what they do.

Your words are not "little" ~ they embody the Heart Wisdom  of One Connected to ALL That IS.  And That makes them "Cosmic Words," Words of Creation, Words that carry "Change as they Bring Awareness to Others."

Thank YOU, Dear Heart, for Your Great Words of Wisdom, of Deep Compassion and Conscious Awareness that is so Rare in Humanity 2000. I too am affected by the observance of greed and self-interest that is so devastating to our Precious Beloved Mother Earth and Her Beings.  Humanity has lost their way and knows not of Honor and Respect for ALL Things.  "Corporations" do not have a Heart or Soul to Feel Compassion or have the Conscious Awareness of anything outside "Profit."

It is quite Challenging to be Here in these times, yet it is Our Chosen Journey to be of Service in Bringing Up the LoveLight ~ in Seeing Past the Appearances to the Heart of the Lessons Presented in our Duality EarthSchool. God/Spirit/Creator of ALL That IS, IS ALL There IS.  Find the Good (God) within Each Negative, Feed it LoveLight knowing the Light will Grow.  Know it is so, and So It IS.

Indeed, We Are ONE.  My Heart and Prayers are With YOU!

    With Infinite LoveLight,

    CrystaLin Joy

    Native Traditional Prayer and Meditation

Here is the way I was taught as a child about praying and meditating, or as some call it channelling.

The way I was taught. Praying and meditation are like placing a phone call.

You dial the number then say hello when the other party answeres, then you say what's on your mind (prayer) then you listen through the ear piece of the phone for the response (meditation).

The prayer is offered to the air spirit and the air spirit takes it up to Great Spirit, (the spirit of all things) all is living spirit, animate and inanimate. The inner voice or spirit within you and tells you what you need to know by way of your own thoughts but not yours, so listen well.

There are probably as many different ways of performing prayer ceremonies as there probably are tribes, but basically for the same reason , to communicate with the ancestors or the spirit of all things.

Dreamers, shaman, and medicine men and women utilised this method of communicating with the spirits only when they needed, ex. during a healing to seeking a solution to some threat to the well being of the entire clan.

Or just seeking the guidance from the spirit of all things, which is in all things, the air, the water, the earth, plants, animals,  fish, stars, and moon, sun  spirits etc.

There were often times the responce to the offerer of the prayers came in the form of an animal, bird, etc.

Tis good, that we can tell our stories, thank you.

    Cynthia ©

  • Myriel RAouine

I LOVE your definition for prayers being like a phone call, Cindy! YES! Sometimes the line is not the best and we dial again - lol! But we are always connected when we wish for it ... and we can directly communicate with the Realms of Light without the need of an interpreter :-)

THANK YOU for this beautiful sharing, Cindy - great to hear from you again :-)

    BLESSED BE,

    Sonja Myriel

In German "anrufen" means to call someone by phone or to ask someone and call him for help. I used the technique too when I was 5 years old, but when I told my parents they said: You are crazy. Don't tell such a shit. That is not possible.

Thats the way great skills go down the river ...

  • Myriel RAouine

Well, that's the way the old world works ... but NOW we are to re-member the new ways which are the ancient ways in full FREEDOM ... and we are grown up and can HEAL the wounds so we do not inflict them upon our children ... We remind each other that we FEEL and FELT IS TRUE!!!

    So beautiful, isn't it?

    BLESSED BE, Frank!

    Hi Frank,

yes back even just thirty years ago you would have been taking a chance to tell anypone about the new coming ways and the ways of the ancient re-emerging to form something new. Something that our own parents would have felt uneasy if not frightened about, and discourage us from using it.

"Taboo" like for example, reading someone's mind, or tell of a prophetic vision. Yet it's been happening for as long as there have been empaths/psychics around for melinia. Many of them were burned at the stake as witches.

But today many are turning away from the institutions that wish to keep us in the dark and say it is taboo. More now then I ever seen before in my life are those who seek the spiritual way.

The way of the ancient is the way back to the beginning. I only pray this time they get it right.

just wanted to comment here along this thread...

now it seems that the old systems "explanations" are'nt even making sense to the logical brain,,,  w/ such dramatic change.  and that the only satisfaction comes from deep inner knowing and spiritual insight as to what is happening in the outer world...

feels like a powerful way for change to occurr, when people simply become "tired" or spiritually depleted from hearing the same old answers.

here's to that refreshing ever renewed truth that is beginning to replace the old ways...

                                        -gabriel

  • Myriel RAouine

Yes, we are to find our own answers NOW - and LISTEN to what SPIRIT would like to tell us ... through what seem to be "thoughts" or songs or synchronicities ... symbols ... animals ... we are to learn this language - lol!

I was listening to the elders without even realising I was doing so. My nick name was the mouse. I would sit somewhere by myself occupying myself with my own form of entertainment, art was my fave pass time when I was a child.
I listened to the drone of the elders in the background as I busied myself with my art. I did not realise how much I had picked up from the elders that way until many years later of which some of the memories are still coming to the surface today.
I am part Iroquois on my mothers side but grew up among the Ojibwa in southern Ontario Canada

When growing up in Canada we used to live near Native Indians, I was very drawn to them,, and still are, I was very privilaged to go into a cermony in Sept 2011 in Canada when we were visiting and also given a drum with a double headed eagle on it. That drum is White Eagles, He plays it everyday for me, I have a friend whom is a healer and he said when he goes inside me to do a healing he see's White Eagle sitting there , one claw on each of my kidneys. I am so blessed to be living now.

  • Myriel RAouine

    BLESSED BE, dear Beverly!
