MACROCOSM AND MICROCOSM:- The Macrocosm to be the entire warp and woof of creation, known and known, visible and invisible, stretching forth and holding within its framework the entire schema of universes, galaxies and sun systems, planets and monadic worlds within worlds. We understand the microcosm to be man himself – the epitome of the creation confined within a framework of individuality. Examining the orgin of these two words, that the prefix macro taken from the Greek macros, meaning long or great; micro is taken from the Greek micros, meaning little; and cosm is a derivative of kosmos, meaning world.
