Yes, that's true, we can really learn a lot by looking back at our ancestors. And by observing nature, of course, and ourselves ;-)))!
I'm glad that I was wrong with the tears.

I think that this is another aspect of our culture: that we find it difficult to deal with sad things happening in our lives because we rather tend to rely on insurances than on LOVE and LIGHT ;-))).

thank you for your open words and explanations! I can feel the pain and uncried tears and hope I didn't intrude too much in your privacy by asking all these questions. Maybe asking them was good, though, to release some of the emotions involved?
Concerning the croning ceremony I think it's fabulous to celebrate the several steps in life with y ceremony! I will have to plan a ceremony for my daughters when they are ready to cross the threshold of puperty ... Does this ceremony also have a special name in English?
And I would also like to celebrate a ceremony for my spiritual awakening which is taking place these times, right NOW, so to say ... I was told that each span of seven years correponds to a chakra, that is 0-6 = first chakra, 7-13 second chakra, 14-20 solar plexus, 21-27 heart chakra, 28-34 throat chakra, 35-41 third eye, 42-48 crown chakra, 49-55 8th chakra, governed by Lady Nada, ... and so on until the 12 th chakra - and maybe enven further on?!? Moreover, each year also corresponds to a certain chakra, that is in the first year the first chakra is integrated into the first chakra, in the senenth year it is integrated into the second chakra, in the 14th year it is integrated into the solar plexus chakra and so on... According to this scheme I'm now activating my third eye chakra step by step, each year advancing a step further - an experience that's life changing! And I'm looking forward to celebrating this soon toghether with my partner who is in his crown chakra, so to say, and also gaining insights which require quite a bit of celebrating ... ;-)))
I feel like the person emerging from deep down in the mud, nearing the untouchable stainless meditating God in awe, only slowly realizing that both beings is me. Do you know what I mean?

Hello dear Whitefeather,

What's a son in spirit? A kin soul who is much younger in Earth years than you are? If it's that I would call my nice a daughter in spirit. She was the first child who drew my attention and she occupies a very special place in my heart :-))).
I don't know what a croning ceremony is. Can you explain that to me? And what's the matter with your husband? Has he always been disabled or was it an accident? What happened to him?
We also have two cats - though it's rather three cats because our neighbour's cat is always here, too. Saphira and Emma are our own cats. And Schoki is our neigbour's cat and kind of Emma's brother.
I also lo ve celebrating the sacred festivals throughout the year and I'm already looking forward to Yule - a special date with its's 21.12 energy! Though first there will be 12.12 - a day to open up to the energy of UNIVERSAL LOVE, acceptance and forgiveness!

I have not prepared much for Cristmas, yet, but I will soon do so as I am blessed with four children, the youngest being 1 and a half years old and the oldest 11 :-))).

Do you have children or grandchildren? I never thought I would have four cghildren myself one day, but it's phantastic and I love being a mother and all!
