You're Swimming in Love the Way  a Fish Swims in Water   Today I went to the Grandmothers to asked them for a message to send out, but they wouldn't say anything. Instead they reached their arms out to me and drew me close.  And as they drew me in, I saw that there were others with me.  "We welcome them," they said, nodding to the hundreds, maybe thousands who were squished into this massive hug along with me.  "We welcome everyone.  We especially welcome those who want to know about us and about the message we bring."   "OH Jeeze," I said to myself, "this is so corny.  Are the Grandmothers going gooey on me?  This isn't a message I want to send out to people."  They laughed out loud when they heard this and then squeezed me tight in a real bear hug.  "You are so serious," they said, shaking their heads as they looked at me, "and our mission isn't serious at all.  It's full of joy.  Let go and enjoy yourself,"they encouraged me.  "Enjoy the love.  Love is there inside you and all around you.  You're swimming in love just the way a fish swims in water.  Love is not a thing that lives 'out there' somewhere.  It's your own nature.  Love is in your breath, in your eyes, it's inside you!  You're never separate from love.  Never!" they declared, fisting their hands on their hips and regarding me.  "And love is happy," they said.  "Always happy.  Happy to hold you, happy to bless you, happy to laugh, happy to give.   "Exhale all that old worry stuff," they said. "Get rid of it.  Blow it out," they commanded, and so I did.  I blew it all out; actually I was so eager to do it that I blasted it out.  "That felt good, Grandmothers," I said.  "So easy. So effortless." "Yes," they said,their faces lit with kindness.  "You're learning,"they nodded approvingly. "You're learning how to be still and let us do it.  How to let us do all the work.  We will do it all," they said, "and we'll do it all through you.  Right through you," they affirmed, nodding emphatically.  "We will 'channel' as you call it through every person who calls on us.  And we can do that," they said, "because we're right here with you.  Every moment we're right here," they said, happily hugging themselves as they rocked back and forth on their heels. I had to laugh then, had to laugh at myself and my effortful approach to the Grandmothers' work.  "How ridiculous I am," I said, shaking my head, "always trying so hard to 'get it right' when everything is so veryright, right now.  Wow, Grandmothers," I said, "thank you." "Think nothing of it," they replied and when they caught my eye they threw their heads back and roared with laughter.
