What is Navaratri...Really?
Navaratri, or 9 nights of the Goddess, is a window of time where the energy of the Goddess (Shakti) is at its peak. The feminine principal, also called “Yin”, is the energy behind all of material existence and personified as the Goddess Archetype.
Every three days within the 9 nights, a different form of this Archetype becomes active to clear specific types of negative energy. Although from the outside Navaratri appears to be an ordinary festival, it is in fact a potent time to harness the power of the Goddess, which is the power of creation itself.
