Grandmothers message, January 1, 2017 Standing Steady in a Shaky World

"This is the Net of Light that will hold the earth during the times of change that are upon you. You are part of this Net. Take your glorious place."   Standing Steady in a Shaky World netoflight.org "Net of Light Gatherings in different parts of the world will begin soon, Grandmothers," I said to the Great Council. What should be our focus at these gatherings?" "Standing Steady in a Shaky World," they replied. "Focus on holding firm to the One Love and don't be pulled off center by any drama, no matter how compelling it may seem. Do not deviate from your focus on the One Love, no matter what occurs in the world outside; trust your heart to carry you forward. The power of your heart will rise up to match the challenges of the times you are living in. This will happen every time," they said. "Take this powerful stance and do not move from it. Go Big! Embrace the All and when we say 'the All', we mean everyoneand everything. No exceptions. No matter how it may appear to you, there is no 'enemy'," the Grandmothers declared; "there is only drama--the play of negative energy. So hold steady and observe the drama play out. Your heart will propel you into right action when action is needed. Always stand firm in the power of love and trust the wisdom of your heart. Your love IS your power," they said. "Do not forget this. "Everyone who attends our Gatherings will experience the potency of love. We will infuse each of you with power and because you are part of the Net of Light, as you receive more power, so will the Net. This infusion will magnify the reach of the Net so it can better do its job of holding the earth during this critical time.  "Beginning today to rededicate yourself to the One Love and from now on hold onto that no matter what!" they locked their eyes on mine. "The commitment to Oneness will uphold you in the times that are fast approaching." And nodding wisely, the Grandmothers said,"Share this message."  To learn about the 2017 Net of Light Gatherings and read more of the Grandmothers' messages, go to  www.netoflight.org Standing steady in a shaky world How to  Stand Steady ? How to stand steady?   Last night a woman asked, "How do we stand steady in these times?"  and since she's not the only one with this question, here are some suggestions: To begin, a wise teacher once told me,"Standing steady only means that when you fall over, you get back up again." I liked that. So, when we get knocked down, what helps us get back up? Good company (people who themselves seek to "stand steady.") People who call forth the best in us. Also included in "good company" are enlightening books, movies, T.V. programs, etc.  Spiritual discipline to feed the heart: prayer, meditation, sacred singing, chanting a mantra or prayer as you go about your day. If these are tied in to particular times of the day and/or specific activities, they become a support structure you can lean on. Doing regular service. Giving to others and making that a normal part of your life. Helping someone ill or infirm, volunteering, feeding the homeless, serving your community. Spiritually focused meetings: coming together regularly to study the Grandmothers' books or any spiritual book, meditate, chant the Ho'oponopono, sing and pray together. You may notice that most of these activities include other people. The Grandmothers tell us not to try to get through these difficult times all by ourselves but to instead call on them and on one another. Also call on the Net of Light. Then call forth the ancestors. Call the ancestors of your familyline, the ancestors of the land where you where born and where you live now. Simply think of their Higher Consciousness and invite this enlightened aspect of them to participate in the bond of love the Net of Light provides.
