VENUS TRANSITS THE SUN ~ JUNE 5, 2012

I was doing some research about the Venus transit and found this astounding picture. I'm not sure that I understand its significance, but I want to share it. What I think I understand is that Venus is completing a penagonial path. This transit adds much significance to the energies which bless us on the full moon on June 4th. "......Venus orbits the Sun in 224 days whilst the Earth takes 365 days, hence the varying orbital rates produce a 583 day ‘synodic’ cycle. Astrologer Nick Anthony Fiorenza lucidly explains:

 

“Because the Earth moves 584 Earth days, (about 1.6 years around the ecliptic) before the two planets align, each alignment occurs about 215.6° further than the previous one (about seven astrological signs apart). As this process continues, five unique Venus-Earth locations are created in the ecliptic. The result is a pentagonal synodic series that takes about eight years and which consists of five synodic cycles (shown below). This near perfect pattern occurs because five cycles occur in an even number of Earth years--almost.” [4]......."

While searching the Internet I also found this, which points out how significant changes in human communication have occurred each time Venus has made a transit across the sun:

".....Each transit has brought about new explorations into the world, especially in communication, because the transits often occur in Gemini the sign of communication. Ah - THANK YOU so much, dearest Ishema!!! This would perfectly fit inot our group on Cosmology and Consciousness - but I think the explanation is pretty difficult for the pentagram. Actually, when you mark each Venus Transit on a map like this - which is always when Venus and the Earth are nearest - you get this design :-)

I am planning on a post on this - and I will translate an instruction of how to build the FLOWER of VENUS

Hello Imelda,

I am so glad you found my post. I want to share here the grid that my husband and I created together. (I know you  may have already seen it on Facebook.) He did the math to create the pentagram and I did the artistic interpretation. It was wonderful to share the ceremony with him, tuning into Lightgrid and the alignment of cosmic energies! We ended our ceremony buy saying The Great Invocation, as that is our custom.
