Dearest Ones, 

The White Buffalo Calf, Lightening Medicine Cloud, has left our realm.

The beloved and sacred calf, born nearly a year ago, to the Lakota people (US, northern Texas) was found days ago, spirit-freed; exact cause, yet to be determined.

Upon hearing this news, my heart felt a familiar heaviness... Tasting the tears and feeling the tightness of chest and sinking of stomach, there were minutes of, 'hope evaporation' and despair floating around and through me.

A birthing and embodiment of such joy and hope...gone...now?

Through the tears, came (blessed) waves of silence.

Breathing...silence...

Breathing...then:

She Speaks:

Lightening Medicine Cloud:

"We are one ~From the one, do we come~

To the one, shall we all return ~"

The heaviness subsided and Lightening Medicine Cloud's resonance came closer ~

"The prophecy has been fulfilled. In my leaving, this is unchanged.

The time for 'hope, placed in symbols' has long past;      

they are representations of what lives in your hearts.

Now, each is to find the peaceful~sacred, within themselves.

Each of you, are to find and share the white buffalo, from within.

In passing and Source being, my 'white buffalo woman', peace shall do more than when a 'one', was incarnate.

Honor those who remain...honor this, within yourselves.

Celebrate the energy of this peace, newly transcended upon your plane, now."

{Lightening Medicine Cloud's mother was found the next day, her journey and sacred vessel 'being', completed. She and her daughter's gifted love, has washed over and remains with us.}

Allowing the emotions that arose, to flow, brought about a deep awareness of and compassion for our human family.

Feeling that sense of fleeing of hope, releasing to a knowing that it is ever present, was a communion with our 'human~ness' and an honoring, of the Sacred Source within, each of us. 

Along moments of heart~soul, sharing and group conversation, prayer and meditation gave way to slowly building gratitude. {That i could/can share, with deep love and compassion appreciation for all that happened here and for all that happens within our being human...THANK YOU}

Mostly, eventually, a true, deep Heart Appreciation has evolved, for the service, light and love of Lightening Cloud and Buffalo Family~White Woman Buffalo~ with/for humanity~

May we find, within our journeying, such service and Light, each in our own unique way~

Lakota Buffalo Ranch owner Arby Little Soldier, a descendant of Sitting Bull, says that his death would strengthen, not weaken, the calf’s purpose.

“He was the hope of all nations,” he said.  "You tried to stop what we’re bringing back to ya’ll, but you just opened the doors to release the message to all people.”

To the Native Americans the birth of a white buffalo is a symbol of rebirth and world harmony.

At first they could make out only a small moving speck and had to squint to see that it was a human form.

But as it came nearer, they realized that it was a beautiful young woman, more beautiful than any they had ever seen. She wore a wonderful white buckskin outfit, tanned until it shone a long way in the sun. It was embroidered with sacred and marvelous designs of porcupine quill, in radiant colors no ordinary woman could have made. This wakan stranger was Ptesan-Wi, White Buffalo Calf Woman. In her hands she carried a large bundle and a fan of sage leaves.

 Her eyes shone dark and sparkling, with great power in them.

The sacred woman then took leave of the people, saying: "Toksha ake wacinyanktin ktelo -- I shall see you again."

The people saw her walking off in the same direction from which she had come, outlined against the red ball of the setting sun. As she went, she stopped and rolled over four times. The first time, she turned into a black buffalo; the second into a brown one; the third into a red one; and finally, the fourth time she rolled over, she turned into a white buffalo calf. A white buffalo is the most sacred living thing you could ever encounter.

The White Buffalo Calf Woman disappeared over the horizon. As soon as she had vanished, buffalo in great herds appeared, allowing themselves to be killed so that the people might survive.
