Message from the Grandmothers                                        Be Real! What is going on, on Earth now?" I asked the Grandmothers. "Much is going on," they replied, "all of it on different levels, but what you are really asking is about the societal upheaval occurring on your planet.   "Great change is taking place now," they said, "and it's happening at such a pace that you're having trouble absorbing it. Hallowed institutions you once viewed as the bedrock of your existence are failing. The magnitude of change you're witnessing has not occurred in thousands of years and it's taking place worldwide. People feel the ground underneath them slipping away and they're right. Everything is shifting. "When there is so much uncertainty, fear comes to the fore. You can witness this every night on the news. Terrorist attacks are now almost commonplace, masses of people are fleeing their homes, police states are on the rise, and tyrants are taking power. These things happen during times like this. In the past you've read about it in history books but now you are living through it. "This is what is going on," the Grandmothers said, "but the more important question to ask yourself is this. 'What am I doing to help myself and others weather these times?' We tell you that not only are the times here now, but you are also here. This is not an accident. You are not just a bystander," they shook their heads. "No! You have a part to play. "Plant yourself where you are and begin now to anchor light and truth. Be real!" they said. "Be who you were born to be. Fear doesn't suit you!" they cried. "It's not a natural part of your make-up. You are courageous by nature; your heart is strong and open. Keep it that way!  "Connect yourself to the Net of Light and stay connected to it. The Net is working to hold your planet and all life steady. Help the Net of Light with this work. Make a conscious choice to stand firm in the light and not cave into fear and anger. Come together with people of like mind and practice our teachings or other uplifting teachings. Live our message. Do your part and never forget who you are. There is nothing greater you can do at this time. You were born for this."
