The Laughing Tree ....

Hello Dear Friends,

 

I was just outside enjoying the company of my Dear Brothers the Trees, as I was also thinking of you. They reminded me of a story/experience I had with them a few years ago. It is truly one of my most favorite "Tree Encounters" ... so I have now come inside to share with you also:

Over the years, many have asked me the same questions: “Do the Trees and Plants feel pain? How about emotion? What should we be aware of in our future interactions with these sentient and aware Beings?”

 

I won’t be able to fully address all of the information I have to share on these topics in this one article, but I think we can make a nice start.

 

Yes. 

 

Yes, the Trees and Plants feel “pain.” They feel and experience a wide range of emotions as they are fully sentient, intelligent and aware Beings. I have observed the Trees experiencing many familiar emotions – including extreme joy and happiness and even extreme sorrow and sadness. Interestingly, though, there are several emotions absent from my relationship with them. I have never known a tree to show anger, or hate, or jealousy, or selfishness. They are very wise, polite, giving, selfless and loving creatures. They give much of themselves to us and to this world. They are immobile – vulnerable, yet proud, strong, courageous and focused. They are also very “formal” and tend to speak to us and to each other in a friendly but very defined way. For those of you who are familiar with foreign languages (other than English), there is often a “familiar” and a “formal” dialogue or manner of addressing others. The Trees’ “speech”, while always gentle and loving, is almost always of the latter, more formal variety (at least with me). I think it is out of respect.

 

As a beginning to our discussion on this very broad and complex topic of Tree and Plant emotion, I wish to share a rather unique story with you about my Tree Friend named Samona. I "formally" met Samona (pronounced "Sam - oh - na") late last summer. He is a very beautiful maple tree that stands right across from the back entrance to our building. Prior to learning his name I had had some very, very intense energy experiences with him and I knew that he was of a "special sort".

 

After one such energy bonding experience with him, I asked him his name. His response: "My name is 'Sam'." Now, many of the Trees have shared their Spirit names with me and they are almost always rather extraordinary. Knowing Tree names like Barjor, Abadella, and Celebom, I definitely found "Sam" to be rather "ordinary" – even plain. But, not one to question a Tree about his own name, I said, "Nice to meet you, Sam."

 

The next day I greeted him: "Hello, Sam!" He responded: "On". I said, "Sam?" He said "On." I said, "On?" He said, "Sam-On. That is my name. Samon." I said, "Oh, I understand - that makes much more sense."

 

The day after that, I greeted him confidently, "Hello Samon!" He replied, "Ah." I said, "Ah?" He said, "Samon-a. That is my full name. Now you know. Samona." I will admit that this has been, to date, the most curious way a tree has pronounced (“sounded-out”) his name to me. I am now confident that Samona is indeed his full name and he responds very well to it.

 

Very late in the summer I was out back behind my condo speaking to the trees in general, to Samona in particular. He asked me: "What is wrong today? You seem distracted?"

 

"Oh, I am. I am," I said. "Sometimes humankind frustrates me so. We are so very much like children. Not like adults at all sometimes, but like children."

 

Samona and the Trees replied: "We are all children. We are like children as well."

 

I responded, "Well, comparatively speaking, you Trees are much more like young adults to me. Actually, I am beginning to 'see' many of your energy manifestations and they are most masterfully done! You are more like Masters than children."

 

The trees then rebuked me rather strongly: "No. We are children (also)!!"

 

I said to them very gently, and rather playfully, "Dear, dear Brothers, I mean you no offense. You are like ... Master Children ... yes, that's it! Do you mind if I call you such - 'Master Children'?" I even giggled a little bit as the apparent paradox of the "full description" became clear to me ...

 

Then the most curious thing happened. I was looking at Samona and I heard him repeat back to me, "Master Children. Master Children" ... and then, I could "see" Samona's aura - I could see him as a light being and he began to "blink". He "blinked" off-on-off-on-on-off-off - rather unevenly. It was like a malfunctioning, blinking light on a Christmas Tree.

 

The most striking part of all was WHAT HE SAID while he blinked. He said, "Ha-ha--ha-Ha-Ha-ha-ha."

 

I stood there dumfounded. Then I realized what had just happened. Samona had LAUGHED at my "joke"! The manner in which he was able to communicate his laugh to me was just as creative as the manner in which he had conveyed his name. I asked him, "Samona, were you just laughing?" He replied, "Oh, yes! Yes!"

 

I stated to the Trees in wonder: "You laugh! You laugh! But, of course you do. I just never really thought about it, I guess. We are often so very serious in our dialogue with each other."

 

To which the Trees responded: "But, of course we laugh. And, we wish to laugh more often with you and with the rest of humankind."

 

Well, I guess that just about sums it up -

When I was in Jogjakarta, Indonesia I visited the King's palace ... there were many, many pictures exactly like this one from all of the past kings showing their children's names on each leaf of the tree ... it was really neat!

The Tree of Life' or the 'Universal Tree' incorporates the universal concept of the World. It may be comprehended as the Tree of Knowledge, the Tree of Fertility, the Tree of Desire, the Tree of Ascent – from the earth up into the heavens, or from the earth into the underworld. The Tree of Life plays the role of a unifying, organizing element in any one of the ancient mythological systems, being in and of itself a kind of coordinate system or axis, within whose embrace all other components and their symbols are encompassed or inscribed. The roots of the Tree of Life penetrate deeply into the subterranean realms. Bridge-like, its trunk reaches out from the Earth to the Sky. Its boughs and branches rise up to the highest planes of the heavenly spheres, attaining the mysterious world of the Source whence all that Is springs forth, where gods and stars dwell. I love these pictures! And, what a beautiful story. You are so correct ... our Tree Brothers and Sisters YEARN for a deeper connection to us humans. They have done so much, so willingly, so selflessly on our behalf. Often just a quick "hello" or to gently touch a leaf as you walk by ... I find often brings such joy to them!

 

What type of tree is Ramona? Many years ago I began having past life visions of playfully being with these types of trees ... they are not indigenous to where I live here in the USA. When I went to Mallorca Spain I was shocked as I saw these exact type of trees ... apparently from past lifetimes in the Meditteranean ...

 

Oh, and yes, there is a deep Lemurian connection here as well ...
