Mass Prayer to Mitigate Emergency Drought Situation in Texas - Pl share.......

Dear All,
As ordained by our Guru Maharaj, HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, AKHANDA (Continuous) MAHAMANTRA SANKIRTAN (Chanting) will be performed with Prayers for Abundant Rains and Alleviation of Texas Drought Situation on
Saturday, Sep 24: 7 AM to 7 PM
Sunday, Sep 25: 6 AM to 6 PM

Exactly two weeks ago, Akhanda Mahamantra sankirtan with prayers for rains in Texas were performed -- in Dallas on Saturday Sep 10, and in Houston Namadwaar on Sunday Sep 11. And indeed, within a few days, the entire state of Texas was drenched with copious and welcome rains!

However, the Texas drought situation continues and the state needs much more rain to make a significant dent in the drought and dryness prevailing all across the state: the worst drought on record in the state!

The drought is affecting food prices, farmers and crops across the state are suffering acutely, jobs are being lost, homes are being damaged because of wildfires, and if this drought continues, not only will the lack of water reach our homes, but the drought will even have a larger impact on Texas and on the world.

Let us take refuge in Him and He will shower us with His blessings.

Yes it was  :-) . North of us (Texas is a large area) the lightening started a few fires, which have since resolved, thankfully.

 

Rain is on the report for this weekend and our temperatures are below 3 digits now (below 100* F/37.7*C)...it's getting better and better now.
